When the moon fell in love with the sun, all was golden in the sky! If it's not official, it ain't true. talk2hand
All was golden when the day met the night!

All the official sites got rid of it. But I doubt they'd just randomly change their name... I mean, all their merch has it already.. and everyone's used to it now. If they do, Poly's gonna be p-i-s-s-e-d mad
Because Panic! has an exclamation point, no matter what. Even if they do officially change it, I'm never going to stop writing it that way.

I'm pretty sure it's true, you guys. Look at every single one of their sites. The exclamation point is gone on every single one of them. It's gone.
People on their myspace are putting comments like, "!!!!!!!!!!!" repeatedly. xd heart
No matter what happens, just remember that "you don't have to worry, they're still the same band." <3 They didn't change as people.

neutral Ok, I've read a lot of Panic! reviews, including the negative ones. Because the critics like to pick on their ! mad
Panic! should keep it. It's part of their band name. And if they did this because of the critics, I have no comment.

I've been thinking about why they would take it out. Here's what I've come up with. (things that I think might be the reason.)
1.) They just grown out of it. They feel like it's childish to throw in an exclamation point in the middle of their band name, so they are going to change it before it's too late.
2.) Like punkguitar65, they are sick of the critics bashing it.
3.) They've been talking about how they want to make the next album more "universal." Maybe they took it out so that people from other countries who do not use exclamation points do not get confused. From what we've heard so far, their songs have a lot of simplicity on the new record. Maybe they just want to make their name more simple as well? O.o

It's confirmed! gonk Rolling Stone In news that is sure to be a relief for copy editors worldwide, a rep for Panic! at the Disco has confirmed that the band will hereafter be known as Panic at the Disco. But wait, their sophomore album will be titled Pretty. Odd. (Creative punctuation wins again.)
