Wondering yet again, Kucha'Kivuli found himself rather bored. He'd been walking for quite sometime. With only one thing floating in his mind. The pink and white female he kept running into. He didn't understand why she kept floating in his mind. Perhaps it was because he rain into her two times already. He'd yet to run into anyone else twice in a row. He let out a small sigh. Deciding to force himself to pay attention to where he was. Seeing a few trees and noticing the sun was setting. Well, just had started to set. There was probably a few hours before it became total darkness. The air was warm, yet cold at the same time.
He stopped walking for a small break. It'd probably do him some good to take a breather on walking a bit. As quickly as he had stopped, he sat his gray bottom down on the ground. He had black markings all over his body, along with his purple eyes that stuck out very well from his body. He also had light gray markings here and there. The markings around his eyes resembled something of a raccoon. He closed his eyes letting the evening sun hit upon him as he sat facing it. It felt so nice on his black fur, though it wouldn't take too long before he got too hot from sitting in one place.
That was one think Kivuli hated about being the color he was. It took less time to be warm. Though, he guessed it was also a good thing as well. Bad for the hot seasons, and good for the less hot ones. He opened his eyes after a few moments to scan the area. He wasn't really looking for anything really, except maybe something that would hit that he was in another's pack territory. The last thing he needed was to get attacked for being stupid and wondering in a place he shouldn't. He soon relaxed again as he realized there wasn't any threat, or at least at them moment.

It seemed that Kucha was going to have a visitor, but not one whom he was thinking about all the time. a langy male wild dog had stumbled into the area after somehow getting away from his sister. He didn't think that was possible, but somehow it did. Then again that was three weeks ago.
Gazing around his surroundings, he realized how big of a threat he might have just become. Surely the meerkats had hidden in their burrows by now, but he wasn't concerned about that. He was concerned about any rogue lion or leopard that might be on the prowl. He had nearly gotten himself into a tangle with a male lion a few days ago when he tried to steal some seemingly abandoned carcass. He was lucky to get away unscathed from that experience.
It was the setting sun that caught Jabari's attention. He hadn't realized how late it was. A little worried that he might get caught out in the open, and with no den dug out for him to sleep in, he realized that he would have to take shelter underneath of a tree or somewhere a lion couldn't get to. Jabari quickly glanced around again and spotted something he didn't a moment ago-a black form nearly a three miles away from him. Curiously he wandered over to the black form, not knowing what, or who, it was.

Kivuli didn't even notice a brown creature coming his way. No, his attention went from looking about to cleaning himself. He was looking and bitting his butt, then moved to a leg. It had been awhile since he'd stopped and gave himself a nice little cleaning up. Not that anyone could really see the dirt on his fur, but it was nice to have that clean feeling.
His licking of his foot soon turned into a scratching of his head with that foot. It felt so nice to actually relax once in awhile. Not that he didn't relax more then once in awhile, but it'd been a few days since he last sat down at cared about nothing at all.

[sorry about the delay. X.X]
Jabari continued on his trek until something swooped over him, causing his attention to turn from the other Wild Dog and towards the sky. Spotting a vulture in the air, he realized that the bird was heading away from the wild dog and off into the distance. Jabari canted his head and gazed ahead to see a whole flock of vultures circling something.
He knew instantly what that meant-a fresh kill. He stared to walk away, towards the vultures, but then the movement of the Wild Dog he was heading towards caught his eye again. He gazed back and forth from the vultures and the other male wild dog for a few tense moments. If he let the wild dog and went towards the vultures it would probably guarantee him a free meal. But if he stayed with the other wild dog and left the vultures alone then he might have another day to live.
Weighing the options he had, he opted to go towards the other wild dog. At least it was better than trying to scar away a bunch of vultures. Nodding his head, he started to walk towards the other male, oblivious to what Kivuli was doing at the moment.

[No worries]
He was almost done with cleaning himself, though he knew he'd have to do it again the next day or so. Dirt clung to him like nothing else. He stood up and shook himself like he normally did after a days work of cleaning. Though, it wasn't a days work. He snickered to himself as he looked about. This time something caught his eye. It wasn't Vultures. Nasty creatures, but instead something brown. Well, from what he could see, was mostly brown anyways.
Was it another wild dog? Or perhaps a Hyena. He didn't have the best eye sight, so he couldn't completely tell. He yawned. Perhaps it was just a illusion. Which wasn't impossible to believe. Sometimes, he had illusions when he was really lonely. Though, he couldn't really say that he was now. Maybe he was and didn't realize it. He let out a shrug and a sigh, taking his eyes away from the spot to scout out the area. He figured it'd vanish before his eyes came back to the spot.

Jabari noticed that the other wild dog had spotted him when he got a little closer to Kivuli. He didn't notice, however, that the other wild dog couldn't see him properly, so he continued on his way towards the other male.
After getting as close as he wanted to, he stopped a half a dozen feet away from Kivuli and he canted his head, waiting for something to happen. "Hello," he said in a slightly timid voice. "You pack-less, too?" He was curious of the other male. Usually he saw most wild dogs in packs, other than his two sisters, but never any males.

[I saw it, so you don't have to do that. ^^]
When his vision came back to where he saw the blob was when something said something that went in one ear and out the other. It took him a moment to actually understand what he had said. He blinked at the other for a moment and then smiled. "Yeah. No need to have others fallow you around. Best to be on your own." He said with a nod.
Though, it was quite lonely being alone. It made him sad sometimes, but that was life. He chuckled alittle as he nodded. At least the male that was here showed no threat to him, and seemed rather nice.

[sorry. didn't know. ^^;]
Jabari was rather shocked when the other male had responded to him. He would have figured that Kivuli would have ignored him and walked away from him. But here was a response from someone he had barely met. Jabari nodded his head slightly, smiling slightly.
"Yeah, I know what you mean. Thought I did follow my parents' pack for a while until I got lost." He pinned his ears back, not knowing if that was the right thing to say to a stranger. Though his parents weren't here to scold him for doing this and he was also a grown wild dog. Carefully, he lowered his body onto the ground and stared at the quickly setting sun. "I'm Jabari," he said to the other male shortly, not really wondering if the other male might give his name in response.

"Oh? I couldn't be in a pack." He said with a laugh. "I don't play along well with others." Of course that was a lie, but it was more towards the hunting. He could never hunt with another. It just felt... Weird. And someone always messed up, and would make him a little frustrated.
He smiled at Jabari. "Nice to meet you. I'm Kucha'Kivuli" He said with a nod actually standing up this time. "You can call me Kucha, or Kivuli." He said with a nod. "Or anything really. Whatever you think is best. " He laughed. It wasn't much of a problem whatever anyone called him, whatever made it easiest for him. "So, whatcha doing out here?"

[sorry about the rather large delay. somehow I misplaced the link to the RP ^^;]
"Too bad. You look like a good hunter-type," Jabari said, canting his head to one side as he observed the dark wild dog. Kucha might have been the type that could have helped the other hunters in his old pack bring down a large prey. He pushed that thought away as he remembered that his old pack had moved on without him, probably in an area of Africa that was far away from where he currently resided around.
He bobbed his head when the other male introduced himself and he put the name into his memory. Maybe one day he might seek out this dark male in case he wanted to form a pack of his own and offer him a spot in the pack. He pricked his ears up at the other male's question and he shrugged his shoulders slightly. "Just looking for my old pack and trying to find a mate at the same time. And you?" He could guess what the other male was doing, but he wanted to know in case the other male was looking for something other than shade to lay in, which he found already.

( no worries. xP Don't have net right now anyhow)
"Nah. I suck at hunting." He said with a laugh. He couldn't remember when the last time he actually caught something himself. Always picking off left overs from passerbyes. It always made for easy meal. Not fresh, but it worked for the moment.
"Oh? They left you?" He asked with a raised brow. He wasn't going to ask about it farther then that. Though, he knew if that happened to him, he'd figure it'd have been on purpose. "A mate, huh?" He said as he nodded his head. " Well, I'm just floating on threw." He said with a smile. Though a female had been keeping him here long then he'd normally would be. Though, he wasn't sure if they were to be come mates at all, it was a nice thought though.

[that sucks]
Jabari smiled slightly as the other wild dog laughed at his own statement. Pity Jabari couldn't say that he was a very good hunter. He was as pathetic as Kivu, though that was something Jabari would never admit.
"I actually fell behind. With my family's pack it is either keep up or you get lost. To be honest I am not blaming the pack for keeping on their path to their new pack grounds." He turned his gaze up towards the sky for a few moments to see that the sun was nearly set. "Almost time for me to get back to my ded. It was nice meeting you. I hope you find whatever you are seeking in life." Slowly, Jabari got up and began to walk away from Kivu.

[ It's back now. 8D So it's all good ]
"Oh." He said with nodding his head. "Well, at least you know where they went in generally?" He asked him. It'd suck if he didn't know where to look. "I'm sure you'll find them soon." He watched the other get up. He felt really weird and felt like he should say something. "Well, perhaps having a little fun while in search of your pack won't be bad" He said with a smile he stood up as well and started walking towards the other. Perhaps they could play some type of game they could do for the time. It might not help him find his pack, but at least it'd make him a little more cheery.

[ugh, i fail at keeping track of RPs from a long time ago X.X not gonna bother with the text colors this post. too brain-dead to dig it out]
Jabari knew that it wasn't going to be very easy walking away from another of his own kin that easily. He heard the soft sound of paws heading in his direction and he paused for a few moments to see the other male WD walking towards him. He tilted his head to one side and gazed at Kucha curiously, wondering if the other male had changed his mind about joining with him.
