This is a quiet guild.
I say Hello to all you Dexter fans, and everyone else.
What do you like the best from the show?
The fact that you relate? Dexter's thought process? Think the "code" is a good way to live by? You're like me and think Layla is hot? You like the Ham an egg montage from the shows opening?

This is a new guild. So it's terribly quiet confused Buuuuut, I love Dexter because it's so well written. The code is really quite decent for a while but I think it gets warped in the adult mind of Dexter. Lila is crazy, and ham and eggs is amazing. It's just nitty gritty and precise.

I absolutely adore this show, and i'm starting to read the books.
The show is brilliant. It keeps you guessing always, and i love how it lets you get into the mind of Dexter. It lets you relate to him, and root for him, even though he kills people. I hated Lila, she irked me lol i think his code is gonna be different now, because of the season 2 finale.
and the opening montage, i loved how they put it in the second season finale!

I love the books and the show, but I wonder why they never incorporated the whole "Dark Passenger" into Dexter's personality. I guesss they thought it would be harder to love a lovable monster who heard a laughing voice that made killing seem like a good idea...
Show and books still both incredibly brilliant heart

Well I wouldn't say I can relate. I can relate to some of it, but not nearly all of it. I like the entire story line, it's so smooth, and well written. The code is actually pretty good, but I couldn't ever kill a person. I don't think Dexter would have accepted himself with any other foster parent. Most other parents would have taught him he was an abomination or worse! Lila is physically rather sexy, but I don't think I'd ever date her..she's kinda psycho, crazy, and obsessed. Though I think we'd make a good pyro team. The ham and eggs is awesome! It just adds to the character of the show!
Could you imagine how long it took to get a shot of a mosquito biting him?

Hey all!
The Questions: I like the little smirk at the end of the opening best about the show actually, that and how it says what he's thinking. I relate to the show by how Dexter analyzes other people and it's amusing what he comes up with. I like his thought process, I think it's definitely a perk to be able to hear his thoughts and it's very interesting to listen to how he winds around. I think the code is a good thing to live by because it's kept him out of trouble and to what others can justify. I do Not think Layla's not. Yes I like the ham and egg opening.

I love that he is such a clean efficient killer.
And I can relate to how he feels sometimes, hollow, empty, fake, apart from humanity.
