Now there's a band. I'd go as far as to say that the lead singer and Amy Lee are the only two recent women of modern rock who don't suck who sing about something other than "love me, I'm vulnerable." Yes, I know My Immortal is like that. But the Yeah Yeah Yeahs just thrash it up and kick a**. What do you all think of them?

Yeah yeah yeahs is one of my favorite bands 3nodding ...I'm not too into Evanescence tho. rolleyes

two of my favorite bands ever!! biggrin I love both of them. I actually saw evanescence live last summer... it was awesome. i havent heard anything new from the since this winter. sad
|

there are tons of other women in modern rock that don't sing about "love me, i'm vulnerable".
i like the yeah yeah yeahs and evanescence. they're pretty good. but there are loads of bands that are better.

Rebel Girl there are tons of other women in modern rock that don't sing about "love me, i'm vulnerable".
i like the yeah yeah yeahs and evanescence. they're pretty good. but there are loads of bands that are better. Well since you brought it up you should suggest some I mean I have one how bout Pj Harvey? Hole? Courtney Love is a sell out but what about her?

I think there fresh and up beat, though i find that with many people either hate them or they simply LOVE them!!! xd they've got style that's for sure blaugh

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are the best EVER I hope they come out with a new album soon or maybe they will come to toronto I really wanna see em Live biggrin And Saying Other Female Singers of modern rock sucks is garbage there are tons of great Girl SIngersout there maybe you just never looked Oo?
