Ghost are different from other supernatural. How come they are such a mystery? How come we don't know who they really are and if they truly exist? We all know some of us experience ghost before, yet why are their so many nonbelievers out there? If ghost are real, how about vampires, and other supernatural don't show themselves to us and let the questions be answers? It would be easier and let the case rest. But are they real or our imagination?

The easy answer to your question as to why so few people believe is easily explained. Fear. We fear not knowing what something is but also fear what we will learn by understanding it.
The thought of Humans NOT being the head of the food chain, so to speak, it a bone chilling fear that some people can not bare to face. Denial is a powerful defence.
You can't 'answer' the question of whether there really are these being out there or not. It's impossible to know for sure and even if they did disproved something there would still be people that would stand by their believes that what they had saw was real.
There's a mgazine out here in England call Beyond that comes out monthy with tons of articles and stories in it. This month there is a strory of a woman that claims for most of her live to have been 'followed' by a monster 'Bat-winged Monkey Bird' (the name she gave it when she was 8 and first saw it). No one else has ever see this being but she stands firm in the fact that she saw it and kept seeing it.
Some people will just turn around and say it was her imagination and maybe it was but to her that thing was real. She saw it. It scared her. No one may ever see anything like it again but to her it was alway real.
The Chupacabras is another case like this. Most people in Puerto Rico firmly believe that it is the real thing and the Chupacabras really does exist, but ask anyone outside of Puerto Rico and they would probably wave is off as the imagination of a couple of farmers that have had too much to drink or gotten confused in the dark or hear stories and thought they saw it but in fact it was simply a dog or cat or whatever.
As for why these creatures don't show themselves that's easy. Humans have a nasty habit of killing or destorying anything that scarys us. If we don't understand it then we get rid of it. This is the same with any sort of animal. We discover something new and what is the first thing the people in charge want to do? Cut it open to see if it would benfit us in some way. They've kept themselves hidden for this long for a reason and I doubt they'll change their minds or instincts now.

How about the fact that humans that do not fear the supernatural, how about the people who just plainly doesn't believe it? Like scientist.

It's not really fair to say all scientist don't believe. A friend of mine is studying mico-biology but still has a keen interest in the supernatural.
As for the scientists that don't believe it's just the way that person is. They have the type of mind or point of view that means they don't believe anything unless they've seen it or heard it. And once they do discover something they need to understand how it works or why it does what it does. If they didn't have that sort of mind set they wouldn't have become scientists in the first place.
Personally I don't believe that that's anyone that doesn't fear the supernatural. It's an unknown element to us and it's our instinct to fear that which we do not know.

Of couse you'll alway have doubts. I believe firmly in ghosts but I very doubtful over aliens and monster beings.
If we didn't have doubts ad believed everything we where told about the supernatural I doubt anyone you dare leave their house.
If you asked everyone in this guild I'm sure everyone of them would tell you they had doubts over one area of the supernatural.

If all the questions were answered it would no long be supernatural but natural.
It would make things far too boring. To quote Shakespears' Hamlet: 'There are most things in Heaven and Earth that are dreamed of in your philosophy'. I would rather keep things that way.

Really? I would like things to be answered because atleast we can make peace with other creatures and we can answer the most of the question we have wanted answered for so long. Plus there are other question beside the supernatural to be answer. It like a test or a question you want to know. If your teacher doesn't tell you what the answer is then how are you going to the answer? I would like the answer to be solve because then we can deal with other things as well.

So what you're saying is that you want to answer all the questions so you can make up new questions? That seem likes your contradicting your self.
If you teacher doesn't tell you the answer then find it yourself. You can't have everything handed to you on a silver platter, sometimes you have to go looking for something your self.
As for making Peace with other beings or creatures, human are unable to make peace with themselves. Why would they be any better with things that could be higher in the food chain that us? And as I said before human's are a greedy bunch, even if they did make allies of these creatures it would only be while we believed they were useful to us.

Wait I didn't mean to make things sound like I'm greedy to find out if what the world be like if we rest the fact supernatural is true or not. I'm just saying that it would be nice to have all the questions to be answered. Well not all...well you might know what I mean. I'm just saying that I would like for other creatures to at peace with us. Well you can say I'm a real hippie. Anyway with the teacher thing is like asking a question a to a problem. Wouldn't want to understand what going on around us. I know I sound alittle selfish but I'm just saying that it would be nice to understand what going on around us. There are so many people out there are afraid of what they can't see nor understand. The making peace thing, is that I have to agree with you. I know that it will be time till humans understand each other and make peace with ourself. I'm trying to work on that as well sweatdrop Anyway, I know that humans need to work on that but I think it would be a matter of time till humans can make peace with oneself. But you know I would love to see that happen, but I might be too old or too nonliving to see that happened.

I'm not saying your greedy, just people have a habit of acting that way. I understadn what you mean. Some questions would be useful to have but not all. A lot of the time the answer to one question just spawns most questions.
We are already, sort of, at peace with most elements of the supernatural. We leave them alone and they leave us alone. That maybe the closest we can get to a peaceful life next to these elements we have no control over.
The fear that most people feel towards that which they can not see or feel or hear is why so many people choose not to believe.

I know that the people who are afraid of which they can not see. That why if they learn more about the supernatural life they would except it and this way other people wouldn't think they are crazy or shunned them for what is really happening. Oh one question I have been meaning to ask someone. My favorite supernatural is vampires. I always wanted to learn about vampires but some facts in books and on show are so weird and doesn't make sense. Anyway, I wanted to know if you believe in Dracula....not the movie Dracula....Vlad Dracula and what conclusion do you think happened to him after he had died.

I have to disagree with you there. You can learn all you want about something that scarys you, for example spiders, but you'll still be scared of them. So learning about the supernatural wouldn't mean someone would come to appect it. But I do agree that if more people where open minded then most people would probably come forwards with their own stories. If they didn't feel they would be brushed off as crazy and so on. Vlad Dracul was a real person, but in truth I've never heard much about his death. Wiki looks like it has a good artical on him you might want to look there. Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlad_DraculaBut what happened to him after he died? Nothing. He was dead. There has never been anything other that a character in a book that shared his name, that leads me to believe he was anything other that a normal (ok very blood thirsty) man. And even if he was a 'vampire' his body was decapitated by the Turks and in any text that's one of the best ways to kill a vampire.

I know but I keep wondering what happened to Dracula because I learn things about the supernatural from shows. (I can't get the books because my parents think I go crazy and think I will become a saint or something.) Thank for the info and your opinion. I like having this chat and stuff. Oh I wanted to ask if you know about the Windcheaster house? You know the lady who build some what a crazy fun house.
