Yep, you read it right! I'm having another art contest, and it's pretty similar to the last one! You see, I've been trying to come up with a symbol for the Windoku clan for months now, and now I'm calling you artists out to see if you got any cool ideas!

To help you out, allow me to give you a history of the Windoku Clan...

The clan's origins are clouded in mystery, but here's how they believe they began. The matriarch of their clan, Sayka Windoku, was just a simple shinobi with big dreams about her future. She was an air jutsu specialist, and practiced every day to perfect her jutsu. Sayka was known not only for her mastery of the air element, but of her beauty. Some say she was so beautiful that she caught the eye of a wind spirit. According to legend, the wind spirit appeared to Sayka in human form and asked for her hand in marriage, and that she happily obliged. The Windoku clan was said to be born at this point.
For years, Sayka and the wind spirit lived happliy together, but the land was occupied by the spirit was beginning to suffer. Without a breeze to carry their seeds across the land, several tree and plants were beginning to fade away. The air was stale from lack of movement, and the land's inhabitants suffered from poor oxygen. Although the spirit's love for Sayka was strong, he knew he had a duty to fullfill, and to forget it would be selfish. With a heavy heart, he said his goodbyes to Sayka, and returned to his duties. Sayka was filled with sorrow, but understood what her husband had to do. What made things even more difficult was Sayka's pregancy, and knowledge that they would grow up without a father.
But, the spirit refused to completely abandon his family. To his children, he granted a wonderful gift that would always keep them close to the air. From that day forward, every Windoku would be blessed with the kekkai-genkai known as the Asakaze, which gave it's holder's a strong bond with the air by possessing an acute sense of hearing. To this day, Windoku fighters always feel like they're being helped by their great-grandfather during battle.

Once the clan was well established, it's leaders decided to hide their identitie's as shinobi. Times were troubling. The Akatsuki was still alive, Orichamaru was still out and about, and their was a tension between the shinobi villages. Instead of using their Asakaze to fight, the Windoku clan found a nice, peaceful village to live in and formed a preforming arts group, that soon became world known for their talent in instruments, dance, and singing. The audience never knew that every show they intended put them under the spell of a gentjutsu, but the Windoku clan didn't mind at all. For years, they lived under peace, and a lie. Several of the Windoku clan's members longed to demostrate their skills as shinobi, but knew that they couldn't dissapoint their family.
But everything changed when Orchimaru died. The sound village was left in a state of turmoil, and soon those who were loyal to Orchimaru took control of the village. A rebel by the name of Reveldo soon left the village, seeking for shinobi that would aid him in his cause to bring respect back to the sound village.
Reveldo was fortunate enough to intend a show of the Windoku Clan's and knew instantly that they could him save his village. He sought out the village leader, and through days of debate, the Windoku's decided it was time to throw their hat in the ring.
The Sound Village Civil War was remarkably short, and Orchimaru's supporters quickly fell to the full might of the Windoku clan and Reveldo's forces. The Windoku clan agreed to allow Reveldo the title of Otokage, as long as they were promised a significant role in the reconstruction of the village and a permanet home there.

Phew.... that was a lot of writing. Sorry guys, but I just didn't want to leave anything out!

RULES: Once again, you're trying to come up with a symbol for this clan. An example is the fish bobber thing for the Uchiha clan. Everyone is allowed to enter, and may submit as many entries as they desire. 1000 gold will be awarded to the winner. I don't know when I'll close the contest, but it won't be for at least a month, so take your time!
I will be judging, and I alone. Sounds harsh, but it is my clan and I feel I should have some say it what symbol represents it.
