The choice was made and the following moons was expecting nothing but quality time with her mate. With her first litter of age, it was slowly becoming obvious to her that she was fertile again. With Zua on her own to find her mate, she was already a step on her own life by finding her own den. Ophos was still within in the pack and he had became more loyal to the Alpha than Shira had wanted. However, he was old enough to decide things on his own. With no one else but Yakuti and herself, its gonna get lonely again.

The female was returning to her den in the midst of the packlands after a long day's patrol, her heart was wanting Yakuti to be there and yet her mind wanted him not to be. It has difficult to explain, she had let everyone know that she disliked males but she was mated to one of the strong members of the pack. With a cuddly, lovey dovey male, she turned him into a fierce hyena however, he still retained some things. That she did not mind too much as long she had control over him.

With the recent proposal of mating, disguised as aiding the pack, she had only those thoughts as of late. Her mate. Another litter. What would Mafa think if she knew?

Until the ol' Alpha found out, their private lives are of no one's concern but their own.

Tukutu's mind had finally decided that he would stay here for a little bit longer, or well, it was more like there was no way in hell that he was going to leave home for a while again. He had been continuing his 'recreuiting' thing for the Hyena Pack, but whenever he seemed to come here, they...weren't doing anything. Why bring in more if the pack was just arguing amongst themselves, and acting as a normal, rough hyena pack? While he personally didn't mind (or care), the fact was that they needed to stay uunited enough, just in case the Maziko decided to every try to do something again.

With a shake of his head, he padded his way around the pack's lands, remember what it was like when he was just a pup, and everything seemed so big. The graveyard seemed like it would never end. Now, with how his paws knew nearly every inch of it all, just from walking it so much, he felt that it was so small, almost too small with their current numbers.

"Bah," he spit on the ground, pausing for a moment to look up, to relocate where he was and where he wanted to go. Anywhere, away from Mabozi, ugh.

A sound quickly alerted her, ears quickly cocked and her head jerked, a snarl passing her maw. Any stray sound she did not expect was immediately replied with a snarl and if that was not enough, an attacked followed. Her deep blue eyes looked around the dusty hollow bones of the massive beasts that roamed the Pride Lands. The Elephant Graveyard gave too many hiding places for intruders and frankly, it seemed like things were only worsening for the pack. If Ophos was able to know a Princess from the Pride Lands, it seemed like those hairy cats were getting a bit bolder.

"Whoever is there, I suggest you show yourself if you wish to see the light of the next day," she barked, boldly strolling forward with careful eyes. Looking into every crack and crook she could find, her hackles raised and her eyes sharp. No lion, no intruder was going to push past her into these lands.

The thought never occured to her that a male hyena could be lurking out here. If they were stupid enough, and she herself, she might find herself carrying a litter she did not want.

"Speak if you are a member of my pack. Do not and I find you, find relief to know that you will make many full this night."

Tukutu originally heard the grumbling of something out there, but it was mumbled enough through the dust, dirt, grime, and bones of the graveyard that he didn't think twice about it. Only whe he heard a bit more venom behind the voice did he even bother to raise his head against it.

"Eh? 'ere's no food 'ere, who're you kiddin'?" The hyena replied dryly, wondering just who this was to get all jumbled up over nothing. Tukutu didn't know the situation at hand, and though he personally didn't care much for this mutual hate of hyena against lion, he was a bit more concerned about the security of his home. Home was better then anything in his mind; it helped him stay as lazy as he had always been.

He took a few more steps, seeing if he could see this stranger. "Guess ah've been gone fer a bit too long, eh?"

"I'd say. I know each member of this pack and I do not know you. Prove yourself harmless and I might not kill you," she sneered, tail flicking in violent irritation. Damn it, a damn male. Of all the darn luck around here... She moved forward boldly to stand before him, if she was home in the den, she would have passed him off to the next patrol, however, she was only heading back from it. Until her paws set foot beyond that thrusthold, she was still on duty.

"There may not be food here, but there is plenty in the lion's domain. Just got to steal it from them and make them starve, why waste our own reserves?" she questioned as she looked directly at him. Her eyes fixed against his and made sure any movement was answered with her own.

This male, she had never seen him, his scent was unfamiliar, and what more, he was not afraid of her. Perhaps he had some guts and balls for that, but he might just lose those if he crosses her.

Tukutu could feel the tension in the air grow, though most of the tension didn't come from him. Still, he wasn't a fool to clearly ignore it, and he soon composed himself to not act so...careless? Perhaps that was the term. He stopped his movement, in a bit of a growl, though he did not sit. That would be a bit too vulnerable, and he wasn't ready to let himself have to heal from yet another wound from a stupid female. Hyena, lion, or not, he wasn't (ever) up to a fight.

"Oh, so ya say ya know each memb'r, but ya dunno yer alpha's cons'rt? 'Imple 'nuff, 'imple 'nuff. AH'll admit ah'm not 'round 's much as ah shud be." He offered a shrug to the female, not wanting to taunt her, though anything he did could easily be taken as a taunt, since he hardly cared what others thought about him.

"The Alpha's consort?" she scoffed and narrowed her gaze. The only male she knew that was close to Mafa was Rasuli... the male who sired her recent litter. This male, she had never met before and did not feel all too obligated just let anyone stroll on into the Mava Bunda.

She gave a scoffs and her growls and snarls ceased, however, he should not be mistaken that they were gone. They were there... Her blue eyes gazed at him and the way he spoke. Sounded like an idiot. Almost... like... Bozi.

Shaking her head, she snapped her jaws. She can't stay too long, otherwise, he might pick out her scent and the fact that in this state, she was more vulnerable than usual.

"You are no consort of Mafa's. She only loved a few hyenas and the last one means nothing to her any more," she scoffed again, trying not to growl at this male. Perhaps he was a consort, perhaps he was part of the pack, but she wasn't gonna let up on this male regardless.

"What is your name?"

The hyena couldn't help but stop and laugh at the female before him, in the hysterical, typical-hyena habit. Oooh, who the hell did this female think she was? Obviously she thought that she was so in the know, knew everything about Mafa and the pack that she dared to use that term in the same breath as Mafa. Oooh, this was too funny.

"Love? Oooohohoho, love? Ah'm sorry, dat's just tooo funneh!" he exclaimed, throwing himself again into a fit of laughter.

After a short moment, he soon calmed himself, ready to explain just why he was laughing so much. "Ya dunno much 'bout yer Alpha, eh? She loves no one but herself, 'n mayb ol' Banzai, but yew won't be gettin' 'er to talk 'bout him. A'fore yer time, ah promise you." There was only the few of them here after Scar had vanished, and after Banzai had died, Mafa had completely changed. He had seen it himself, and no one else. So who was this...this female to say that she knew Mafa? A nobody to him.

"'n ya finally ask fer a name, eh? 's Tukutu," he replied, motioning his head as if he was just tossing his name at her.

She sighed and rubbed her head, damn, bad choice of words.

"Perhaps love was not the right word... She's void of emotions and yet I am full of them, just shut up, won't ya?" she snarled past her maw and looked at him laughing, that annoying laugh that most hyenas had. Then again, she had it to, but to be laughed at is what annoyed her.

"I know a thing or two about her. And I do know about you now that I know your name. You fathered Mabozi, the pack twit, but he is strong, I'll give him that. However, for you, it seems she has lost sight of you in her little circle. She has a new consort one that was able to sire a daughter. Perhaps you should go see her, but mind you, I won't forget that you are around," Just this once... he was going to let him pass off without a scratch. She was nearing her heat and her mind was already a blur. She needed to concentrate on other things. Seeing as he was Tukutu and acted a bit like Bozi it was assumed he was the father indeed without the need of proof of his name. She moved off to the side to let him pass her into the lands.

She scoffed.

"I am Taashira'kikuto," with a shake of her head and another scoff, she began to head off back toward the den. She needed her rest for the time.

His body soon calmed down to a stiff stance as he shot a glare at the hyena female. Well, wasn't that just nice, eh? It seemed that everyone figured out that he wasn't anything to anyone, since he didn't help create the female heir that Mafa wanted. But even then, did that mean that she would be a good heir for the brute-like alpha? There was no guarantee on that, and Tukutu was sure that the rest of the kids would hold it against that lone female that they themselves were seen as nothing just like he was.

Buuut, this was all specualtion on his part, and it wasn't his thing to vocalize everything that he thought. In fact, he barely ever opened his mouth towards anything, or anyone. Naah, he had gotten a few too many kicks when he was younger, doing those things, and so he'd learned better. It was smarter to observe and wait, and just say the few couple things that might shake the foundation of something. It was perfect, in his mind, and he would stick to it.

Though, even with that, there were some times that the more brute, male side of him couldn't help but add in snarky comments to others, even Mafa herself. Sometimes it was worth the threat of getting another kick to the head, if it just amused him for the rest of the day. Nothing was better then a good laugh.

"Ya think ah dunno that? Ah dun care, the little whelp's been ignored anyway," he said with a snort. Who said it was his genes that supressed a female, anyway?

She had tossed out his name at her, and he filed it away in his pile of names in his mind. The one good thing about him was that he never forgot a name or a face, and this time he'd make sure to keep an eye out on her. There was something about her that he didn't like. Not that she seemed horribly agressive towards him, but maybe there was something else that he couldn't quite put a paw on. He shrugged it off, turned himself to walk away, trying to decide what he would do for the rest of the day. So much to do (not really), and such little time to do it!

With another augh to himself, he trotted off, deciding that he would try to find a meal to steal from someone. He was hungry.
