Personality: I'm pretty nice, or at least I think so. I'm on gaia every day now that it's summer, so I'm always in the mood to chat. My favorite emote to use is :3 so you'll see it often. Um, what else can I say? I get annoyed easily by stupid people/things, so please use your brain when you talk to me. I'm kinda lazy, but when it comes to roleplay expect a speedy reply. My writing isn't all that great, but I think I'm pretty good. Let's get along, okay?

Saza sat at the top of a snowy hill somewhere in Hokkaido, watching the sunset with her rabbit companion. The fading sun’s light turned the snow a beautiful mix of gold and peach colors and was always very pretty to watch. Usually the sky was filled with gray clouds that meant precipitation of some kind, causing the sunset to be masked. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it Yuki?” She asked the little rabbit. Yuki nodded his small head. He too was enjoying the scenery before him, but suddenly his flattened ears stood up tall.

“Gross, it’s an Oni!” “Kill it!” “Don’t let it get away!” The voices of human children reached the pair on the wind, and Saza frowned with worry. “An Oni? And children are nearby?” Saza quickly stood and glanced down at Yuki. “Let’s go before the humans are hurt.” She said before dashing off to the East, which was the direction that the wind had come from. Saza ran a short distance from her previous spot and down a dune of snow before she skidded to a halt, with Yuki at her side.

Three human children were throwing snowballs at an Oni pup, the small male growling at them. Saza barked at the kids, getting their attention. “Oh, it’s a Kuniku!” “I bet she’ll get rid of it.” “Let’s go home.” The children scampered away at the sight of Saza, which gave Saza great relief since the children were now out of harm’s way. She looked at the Oni pup carefully and noticed that he was injured. His leg is broken. She realized. The pup started to growl at her, and he spoke up in what she guessed was an attempt at a macho voice.

“Stupid Kuniku, if it weren’t for my leg I’d bite you into a bloody mess.” The pup said, his dark eyes glaring at Saza. “.....” Saza didn’t respond to the pup’s attempt to scare her. Even if his leg weren’t broken he wouldn’t be much of a match for an adult Kuniku. Saza sat down and slid her backpack off of her shoulders. She then stuck her muzzle inside and pulled out a rice ball, rolling it to the pup. “You’re hungry, aren’t you?” Saza offered food to the little Oni, even though technically he was the enemy. The Oni spat at her food and glared at her even more. “Why are you helping me? Shouldn’t you be trying to kill me?” He snarled.

Saza sighed. “I don’t believe in killing children, especially not helpless ones.” Saza simply said, while waiting for the pup to eat. “If you were older, then I would finish you off.” The boy frowned at Saza’s words and remained quiet for a little while. He rolled the rice ball closer to him with a foreleg and began to eat, though he made no eye contact with Saza. “I’m only eating so… I can keep up my strength.” He said between greedy gulps of food. Saza merely nodded, not expecting the Oni pup to admit that he was accepting her help. She looked at his leg and guessed that he wasn’t in very much pain because his leg had grown numb with the cold. Yuki bounded forward right up to the Oni’s face and wriggled his nose with disapproval at the Oni’s behavior.

However, Yuki quickly ran back to Saza’s side when the pup snapped his sharp teeth at the rabbit. “Yuki, you know perfectly well that he can still bite.” She gently scolded her familiar. Yuki settled himself between Saza’s legs and flattened himself against the ground, saying without words that he was sorry for being silly. Saza laughed a little at Yuki, but stopped as the pup looked up at the sky. “It’s going to be dark soon. The others will be coming for me.” The little one said, warning Saza that if she stayed much longer she would probably end up in a fight against some number of Oni.

Saza looked up to the sky and realized that indeed, the sun was almost completely below the horizon with only a few rays of sunlight left to light the sky. The stars were starting to come out as well, which meant that Oni probably would be leaving their shelters of the ice caves within the hour. “Come on, Yuki.” Saza said to the rabbit, shooing him out from under her. Once Yuki was out, Saza stood and slipped her backpack onto her shoulders again. “If I ever see you again when you get older, I’ll have to kill you.” She said, with a rather blank expression on her face. Saza then grabbed Yuki by the scruff of the neck and ran off without another word of parting to the pup she had left behind.
