 Sophia tossed her head a bit as she walked, liking to hear the sounds of the beads tied into her mane and tail clink together. It was almost like music, and gave the quarter horse a little feeling of joy every time the chimed in her ear. She supposed she should be worried about breaking them, but with a flip of her tail she easily brushed away such thoughts. They hadn't broken before, after all, why would they begin to now? With a soft nickering sound of pleasure at the pretty day, feeling the warm breeze tease strands of her mane and tail free from their braids, the slight tugging feeling she felt giving Sophie a bit of a tickling sensation as she moved along, plodding slowly as she let the loveliness of the day wash over her, tilting her face up towards the sun, closing grass-green eyes happily as warmth moved over her dark brown coat. Sophia could only think of one- well, perhaps two- things that would be able to improve upon the day. One would be food, and she was already moving to a portion of her home that had the sweetest grass she'd ever tasted. The other... Well, she wouldn't mind someone to share the meal with.

Wandering amongst the the mountain, Eden was delighted to see that the mountain and it's surroundings held an abundance of resources~ And it looked delicious as well! it was as iff the land had not been recently coated in a white blanket of solidified liquid called snow. More as if time had come to a stop, giving the mountains eternal beauty.
Nevertheless. It was late morning, and the sun had already begun to move, distributing it's warm rays among lucky creatures who happened to be outside. "This is much better than the winter season.." She thought to herself warmly, her eyes closed as she came to stop from walking. The sun's warm rays showered upon her face, and the breeze brought the scent of flowers. It was.. refreshing, to say the least. After a long moment however, she opened her eyes only to find a startling sight of another mare in front of her! Not too far off in the distance.
It was indeed a surprise. She hadn't expected that. "Hmm." She said with a questioning tilt to her tone, assessing the dark mare with crystal grey eyes. Should she approach the mare? Or would it be unwise, if the mare was ufnriendly? ".. well. You'll never know fi you don't take a chance." The thought struck her mind, and she grinned to herself. So true, the advice was.
It wouldn't hurt to do so! With a deep breath, "Hallo~!" She called out to the stranger in the far distance.

Sophia lifted her head, turning towards the direction of the wind, which had carried the sound of another's voice to her attention. Ears perking upwards, swiveling forwards, the easily distracted mare forgot about her impending meal. Aha! This was much more interesting than plain ol' grass. Hadn't she just been wanting for company? Trotting forwards a few steps, Sophia tossed her head to move her braids and beads out of her clear green eyes. "Hello!" she greeted back, calling back as loud as she could. Hmm... They were far too far apart to hold a proper conversation, they were! She moved a little ways further towards the other horse, trotting at a decent pace. "I'm Sophia," she said when she thought she was at a respectable distance. She didn't want to be overly-friendly or rude, after all. "Hello, hello, hello! I'm Sophia, and it's ever so nice to meet you." True, she was repeating herself, but when was the last time she had meet another horse? Being alone and lonely certainly did not suit this green-eyed mare. "Who are you?"

"Sophia! My, that's a nice name." She said to the other mare, her tone cheerful yet sincere. Certainly an odd name but a nice name nonetheless! "Well. My name is Eden. It's a surprise to see someone else here, Although I wouldn't call it unpleasant." The mare nodded to herself, with an agreeable expression upon her face. More as if she were talking to herself. But it wouldn't have been the first time!
As the mare trotted closer, Eden was able to take a discreet yet closer look at the mare's markings and colors. Her shade was of a deep brown that faded into black on her legs, and her mane the same black. Her accessories was colored all green, matching the mare's gentle eyes. Her beauty was simple, yet elegant! Or so Eden thought to herself. "What are you doing out here?" She asked, gesturing to the isolated field spread all around.
"Normally, I don't see anyone around here~ No one tends to wander out here much, if at all."

"Eden," Sophia said in turn, nodding her head slowly. "You have a lovely name too." She had been about to say something about how the mare speaking with her was beautiful, with her soft and odd markings, but being the easily distracted Soquili she was, she forgot about the thought nearly as soon as she thought it. "Oh, yes! I get bored and tend to... wander, I guess would be the word for it," the natural colored mare said with a toss of her head, a playful expression on her face. "And it's nice up here... A good place for a snack or meal, don't you think?"
Sophia felt rather at ease around this mare- Eden, she reminded herself. Her name was Eden, and they were friends now, in Sophie's mind. Could the day get much better? Nice weather, nice food, and even nicer company. Prancing a bit in place, the mare flicked her tail this way and that in excitement. "I like it up here, don't you?"
