I'm hoping this works...perhaps this has been done before, too.
Anyhow, any person can say whatever they want.
It HAS to be over 3 words though and can range from 3 words to a paragraph.
A paragraph being at least 5 sentences.
You can have two paragraphs as long as it is under 5 sentences.
After the end or some conclusion statement or whatnot, write "-END-" and give it a title of your choice that is meaningful.
Then start with 3 words to a paragraph of your own.
Only restriction is that you have to abide by the rules and please refer from swearing and if need be use asterisks--"*"
The story has to make coherent sense, but it doesn't need to be eloquent. Also, you cannot go twice in a row.
In other words, you cannot have two posts in a row, but you can go after another person.
E.g.
I can't post twice, but I can post (then someone else posts) and then I post again.
Edit: This is a collaborative piece of fiction, and as such belongs in the FanFiction subforum. But I move we can have a one of kind collaborative story in the main Forum. When it concludes, write the END and start a new Thread: Teamwork: Story 2 and a mod will move this one to the subforum.
I PMed LadyHealingHands and got her agreement. She said let's try it for the time being and see if it works, "provided the Story interweaves some magic, Harry Potter settings and/or characters in it, since our rules say the main Forum is for HP related topics only. And if that's not ok with you as originator of this thread, or we did not get what you want", then probably this thread will need to move to either Fan Fiction or Chatterbox.
After you write "THE END" This must stop, and you must, or someone else can start Teamwork: Story 2 in this forum.

I'll start:
The night was cool and the wind brushed my cheek like a distant mother as I stepped out of the lonesome house. I looked up and saw the moon, gleaming brilliantly from its fixated place at the sky. With remorse, I turned around and looked back at my house--its windows were dark and the despite being made just a few months ago, the wood seemed dull and dying. With a heaping sigh, I gathered my measly bags and with a soft pop, apparated away for the time being.

I looked around. The village was dark. The same moon gleamed softly over the treetops, low in the sky. Dawn was coming.

The birds in the trees were stirring, their sweet song ached my soul. Remembering about the past, about him and vengeance. I would do anything in my power to take what was mine, especially against them. The war had just started and with it my resolve. I wouldn't rest until Lucius Malfoy was dead.

I silently walked through the dead streets, my head snapping back at every sound to ensure that I wasn't being followed. I couldn't risk being caught, not today.
I shaded my eyes to the slow-rising sun, and fingered the familiar wand in my pocket.

My pale hair gleamed deathly as the sun rose and despite being taught to be emotionless, I felt a 'pang' in my heart, but I knew what I had to do. 'The irony,' I thought. 'That bas**** of a father had lied his way back to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. And what had He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, do? He manipulated me and so, I must get my revenge, first on my father, then on He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named--this is my battle, not Harry's...'

Luna Lovegood sat on a lonely bench hearing the chatter coming from inside. A vengeance demon chattered happily with her father while Luna was left to carry on by herself. Apparently, this woman was her great great (multiply this by about a hundred thousand and you get how many long terms they were related) aunt, on her mother's side.
"Young child," said Anyanka, "You will join us will you not?"
"Of course Aunt," Luna heard herself reply, "I will be happy to join you and my father in your enlightening discussion about Linogouls."

The next day, early in the morning, she crept outside only to meet a resolute Draco, muttering under his breath.

She felt rather happy, at the thought of her fathers happiness, but there was still something which she would feel, deep in her chester. "'Ello, Draco." said Luna, looking gloomily at said Slytherin.

"Hey, Luna...". The Slytherin's voice faded out and though Luna could detect that something was wrong, she dared not to inquire. They both fell silent for a moment, their blond hair glistening in the rising sun like the reflection of a pool. In this tense silence, Luna could hear Xenophilius and Anyanka talking, their voices getting more and more excited. 'They must be scheming something...' Luna thought and though her instincts were screaming at her to stop, her Ravenclaw curiosity forced her to put her ear to the door and eavesdrop on a conversation, she hoped to never hear.
