Gilliland and Kvapil took to the track in the 38, and 28, without sponsorship. It makes me sad that the organization that won the 1999 championship is in trouble because they can't find a sponsor for two cars that finished in the top 35 last season. sad

At least they can go on for a little while With any luck, they will pick up the sponsorship they need. Most likely they will pick up several little sponsors instead of one big one.

Two cars that absolutely sucked last year besides the superspeedways. Look at Rudd and you can tell how bad the team was. Gililand needs to be fired from cup, he does not deserve to be in cup. causes too many accidents.

Oh come on, Tony Stewart ran over more guys than Gilliland did. And Tony did it on purpose! Then there was Montoya who was more destructive than David Gilliland. Now there's 4 more open wheel guys coming in who have proven themselves to be less than competant behind the wheel in their few NASCAR starts with almost half their starts last year resulting in DNF's. You can't bash Gilliland like that unless you go after the bunch of them.

Gililand, in my opinion still needs a couple more years in either nationwide or trucks. I agree, all 4 of the open-wheel gys I think should not be here because that means other worthy drivers are not getting rides that they deserve. Funny thing though, Robby Gordon and David Ragan have a 6 to 1 ratio of one of them putting out the first caution.

Nobody deserves that.

Triple Homicide confused You're not making any sense. That's the whole point. He has a temper, he likes to wreck people when they annoy him or get in his way. I'm surprised he doesn't wreck more people.

He does have a temper, and now with Kyle on the team things could interesting. It would be funny if they teamed up and did the Malachi Crunch* to someone durning a race.
*Demolition Derby maneuver in which two contestants working in tandem crash into an opponent simultaneously from opposite sides, thereby creating the effect of a trash compactor. Coined in an episode of Happy Days, when the Malachi Brothers execute this maneuver on Pinky Tuscadero's car at the climax of the demolition derby. Pinky survived.

Your forget the many times in races last year where David had the #38 in the top 10 (i.e Glen, Talladega, etc.) However many times he was wrecked by SOMEONE else...or had bad luck. The same goes for Travis who just like Brendan wasn't given a chance by Penske. However Yates is going to have to find some fresh cash fast if he plans to run past Daytona.....Beat that deal with Robby is looking pretty good right now rofl . And I still standby my original saying that just to spite UPS Yates should get sponsorship for the 28 from USPS xd

Gililland is just an idiot to me, look at him, he's so ugly, he looks like a toad. And jimmy spencer can't even pernounce his name on NASCAR raceday.
