Yeah, I know... this is the third 'ever felt' topic right now. Sorry.
But the point of this is, have you ever felt like you were born into the wrong family? Like you're just to different from your mom, dad, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, all of them, to possibly belong? See, the thing is, my mom, dad and brother all have the same intrests. They're all really interested in cars and history and they really like riding bikes and things like that and I can't stand any of that stuff. They're all pretty loud and (sometimes) obnoxious, while I am very quite and like to keep my opinions to myself (though I have plenty of them). Also they like to question everything, and I just pretty much want to let things be, 'cause I don't like to think that much. I am a very thoughtful, artsy person (at least, I like to think so), and I pretty much live in the clouds. They seem to disaprove of this. They're all about what's 'real' and what's 'right'. Overall, they're just really smart people, although they're quite lacking in common sense, whereas common sense is all I have. And then there's my more distant family (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents). I see them a lot, and I'm amazed at how different I am from my other cousins. I mean... they're just... they all like to learn, and talk and question things (just like my parents and brother). They all like the same exact foods, too. It's a little freaky. For a while it seemed like my aunts and uncles and grandparents were trying to like, figure me out and stuff, they would try to start conversations and such but I just don't... like to talk. I'd much rather observe at these family get-togethers. Now they seem like they've stopped trying to connect with me. I mean, I can tell they all love me, I know that, but... I just don't fit in. I think it makes them a little uncomfortable (the people in my family are not fond of change, either). They're always talking about my brother who's in college and how succsessful he's gonna be ( rolleyes ), and they're always talking about my other cousins and the things they've done. I just have nothing to show for myself. I feel like I just don't exsist with them sometimes. I am like my parents in some ways, like I love music like my dad, and I'm a big reader like my mom, but that's about it. Sometimes I just wish they were more like me, or I was more like them.

Pretty Handsome Awesome ah family! I am pretty lucky in that me and my dad have sooo much in common! Spindra, if you don't belong in your family, COME LIVE WITH ME! lol although, I basically live at your house... heart heart I love you. But when we spend to much time together we get cranky with eachother. It's been happening lately... cry And if I lived with you I'd have to sleep on the couch. stressed And if Alex was over (and it seems like he always is) then I'd have to sleep on, like, the floor! You know, it's all about sleeping with me.
EDIT: And also, my mom wouldn't let me live with you because she'd be like, "Morgan, if you leave, then who will I get to figure out how to print your brothers school-related things?"

My family is all fun and stuff. We're just a bunch of crazy rednecks @_@; I'm alot like my family. The thing is, is that I'm not like my brothers. I have never gotten into trouble with the law, and I don't take a bunch of drugs @_@; And I'm not a total slut. I'm like my dad, mainly, but I look like my mom xD
I can't stand being around my brothers for too very long.. I usually snap X-x;

Augh, family. They always seem to either pretend to like you, or they plainly express that they hate you. My family is like a group of nerds. My mom was a biologist, my dad is a phsyasist (sp?), my older brother is a complete nerd, my twin is really smart, he's just to lazy to do the work. Me, I'm a nerdish tomboy. At dinner, my family starts talking/arguing over some scientific thing that I have no idea about. And then my twin is fairly imature, so it's like having a seven year old brother genius who can beat you up. I know where your coming from.

Yes, I have felt different from my family. My father and sister are very much alike - both are the teasing joker kind of people, who appreciate a good horror movie and like sweets and that sort of thing. My mother and brother are also alike in temperment - both of them have very hot tempers. I don't feel alike to my family at all - my head is so far up in the clouds that it's hard to remember I'm walking on Earth. I love writing and reading and I'm firmly entrenched in the world of Fantasy. My sister likes to claim she "used to write all the time", but then she says one of our computers crashed and she lost everything, so she doesn't anymore. I never quite figured out why she didn't just start over.... sweatdrop I'm also the most sensitive [read, empathetic] one in my family. But I rather think every kid feels this way sometimes, and that the older you get, the more similarities that you'll notice.
