xp actually it was the only way for sasuke to get the mengekyou sharingan you see to get the ultimate sharingan in his clan he has to make a sacrifice like someone close to you...
so instead of killing naruto he trained with Orochimaru then killed him because he trained with orochimaru for so long it kinda means that orochimaru was the one close with sasuke so sasuke killed orochimaru he got the mangekyou sharingan he bacame stringer and naruto @#$%$#@^&%$
Ok that's just wrong. One Sasuke does not have the Mangekyo Sharingan. The only way he can get it is if he kills off Naruto. It's not someone close it is his bestfriend that has to be killed. Sasuke killed Orochimaru because if he didn't kill him in his weak state then well Sasuke would have been killed. But he really doesn't kill Orochimaru but that's later on. So yeah sure maybe power but I think it was mainly just so he could live to kill his brother. Two if Sasuke had the Mangekyo Sharingan why would he stay away from Naruto then? He doesn't and he stays away from Naruto so he doesn't kill him.
