I've recently become as obsessed with this anime/manga as I have been with Tsubasa Chronicle and Shinshi Doumei Cross recently (which is very, very obsessed) so I decided to open up a topic for it!
There's no real fansite with organized information available right now. So you can read about the basic plot at wikipedia here. Though I suggest you don't read any of the character's info because it contains major spoilers that aren't available in the scanlations, licensed manga, or the anime yet.
Right now the anime is up to episode 13 and the manga is up to like...chapter 20-something in Japan...probably more. I lost track because the scanlations are so far behind...but over in Japan it's definitely up to volume 5. (And unless the scanlations pick up I can't read chapter 13 until February...so annoying!!!
But even if you haven't read the manga or seen the anime, the plot doesn't sound like much, but the characters in the series make it really amazing (Ikuto is so cool~!). So check it out even if you don't feel impressed byt the plot summary (check out the manga though...the anime is pretty slow...).
I hope someone else has read or seen the series because I want to talk about it...
Oh and sorry about the poll...I could only include so many characters and I decided to make them all spoiler-free ones.

i've read books 1 and 2, 3 comes out in february~ and i've watched 1-12 of the episodes........... i need a subbed verssion of 13... crying i saw a site that had 13 AND 14 but they were raw.... search google for them....

Episode 13 subbed just came out today or yesterday I think. Anyways, I thinks it's up on both YouTube and crunchyroll.com
I watched the subbed version on crunchyroll, but I'd already downloaded the actual episode a while ago...like...the day it came out. Because I'd read the manga and because I know some Japanese I was able to understand it. In the episode they made Amu seem like a moron. Ikuto never says anything and she assumes that he's responsible for all the eggs turning into x eggs...all he does is collect or destroy them...silly Amu...
Well...episode 19 is going back to the normal storyline so she'll probably find out then...but what a long time to wait...
Also...woo! Ikuto's Chara-Nari (Chara become/transformation) is so cool! Awesome! He looks even cooler in the manga...but who cares...he still looks incredibly cool in the anime! (Uh-oh...my fangirl-ish side is showing through again...darn you Ikuto for being so cool!)

If you do watch it you'll have to learn patience. It's just barely past the first half of the first season and the subtitled episodes only come out like...one or two weeks after the episode airs in Japan. So if you don't know Japanese you can only watch up to episode 13 right now (I know some Japanese so I've watched up to 15)...
And to make it even more difficult...at least until episode 19, all the episodes are pretty much plot-irrelevant, annoying new characters, anime-original, filler episodes. Lame. Yet I watch those episodes anyways because I enjoy watching Amu and all her charas...it's such a shame that the other two characters in my top three don't show up much in fillers. (The list goes Ikuto, Amu, then Utau if anyone is curious)

Uwaaah~! I don't know if anyone else is this far in the manga...but chapter 26 raws are out!
Yay~!
It's a great chapter for Utau fans and Amu fans it seems...I haven't gotten my raws yet, but I've seen some images. And to keep from being spoiler-y I won't talk about any of that here. Because if you've only read what's scanlated you'll have no idea what I'm talking about anyways...

Well...that's fair enough to say. All the people that love it are either really young or extreme Ikuto or "Amuto" fans really.
I love the series for Ikuto, Amu, and Utau (along with a few other characters...but not as much). If Ikuto and Amu weren't a possible couple though...I probably wouldn't be as into it.

Yeah...because in the manga Tadase only like Amu for her Amulet Heart personality...which I can't even imagine. Amu-chan is so cool, but he likes her overly-happy and outgoing personality...strange.
But in episode 18 of the anime they made Tadase blush over Amu as Amu. He never did that in the manga (in all the 25 chapters I've read). He only blushes when thinking about Amulet Heart so that ticked me off. So, not only does the anime cut out Amuto moments, but they add in false crap for Tadamu. Lame...
