With a quiet trot and a relaxed attitude, Eden moved about comfortably without a care in the meadow as if it were her own home. Despite the fact that she wandered too much places, far too often for anyone to determine an exact location. As long as a place was suitable, it was fine for her!
Encountering a bush by the river nearby, "Hmm. Do I feel hungry?" A question that was directed to herself. She was delighted to find food, and better yet that it was something sweet~ but.. She wasn't very hungry either."No.. I don't think so." With a sigh, she gave a mourning look to the berries. "Perhaps later, if no one else eats them all." She said, with a grin. Instead of eating however, she COULD work off some energy. And there was a perfect way of doing so.
Stepping back, she turned her head from side to side on the search for another soquili or human. When determining there were none around.. A childish glint appeared in her eyes.. before she backed up, and took a flying leap across a river nearby.
Unfortunately.. her distance didn't go very far. Instead of CROSSING the river, she had ended up landing in it with a big splash! Ah jeez, perfect. Oh so, she thought. "Crraap.. Me and my big confidence." Now she was soaking wet. Jeez.

The days had melded together since she was taken. Taken from the only home she had ever known and now cast into this world of unfamiliarity and tradition. A world of her fore sires.
Now the young mare traveled with those familiar and yet so unfamiliar to her in every way. Her mind shrouded in mist as things she should have recognized and have some interest in did not even catch a curious glance. Learning the heritage of her mother's blood line that the dark mare had run away from so many years ago. But Dafina couldn't run. She did not run. She had no place to run to.
Every now and again she was allotted a bit of time to herself. She would travel down to the nearby river and spend what time she had just staring at her own reflection. Who was she? Or...who was she becoming? It was all a blur.
The sudden sound of splashing water caused her to lift her head momentarily. A blank gaze at the odd looking mare who had apparently attempted to cross but instead of making it to the other side ended up in the river. Normally this sight would of caused her to giggle, but she did nothing but watch for a few more seconds before her eyes turned back to the reflection in the water.

The attempt at a jump proving unsuccessful, She dragged herself out of the water to avoid get a cold and to dry herself out within the bright sunlight. Stepping out of the river onto dry land, her coat was soaked in water, dripping all around her. Her white colored mane laid limply over her face and eyes, causing excess water to fall from her cheeks. "Aw." As she shook herself violently to rid herself of water.
A few minutes later, content and satisfied with her condition, the flicker of grey was caught out of the corner of her eyes. Opposite of the side of Eden's riverbank yards away, laid a dejected looking mare staring at her reflection in the water. Hm? Anything wrong with her? With curious eyes, she trotted a closer distance to the mare until she was a few feet away. "Hey.." She called out softly, in a questioning tone.
But the closer she came, the more of the mare's expression, she could see. "Are you all right?" She was getting worried now.. Her eyes seemed to be so.. BLANK.. Like she was simply dead on the inside. As if.. she was in pain.

She hadn't noticed how close and how quickly the mare had gotten until it was took late. In an almost surprised fashion, she coiled back. Taking on a defensive stance as she looked at the mare quietly.
"I-I'm fine." The young mare replied quietly. "I don't see why you would ask such a thing." Taking a few steps back, she let one leg dangle in the air before slowly letting it settle back down onto the ground. Her mind was telling her to leave, before any trouble arose. But it had been so long since she had talked to any other Soquili besides this extended family she was thrust into.
In the back of her mind she wanted to talk. She wanted to stay and hold a conversation. But another part of her mind told her she knew better.

Delighted by the mare's reaction, she gave a small laugh. But it quickly died down with the heavy atmosphere that seemed to emanate from around them.
Eden gave the other mare an intent gaze, her brows lowered in thought. She shot the strange mare an assessing gaze before she began to speak. With the innocence of a child, "I don't think that's it." She replied, making sure to be careful with her words. Her piercing gray eyes found the mare's own before turning away in an adrupt fashion. Trotting over to a warm patch of grass a few feet away, she gestured for the other mare to join her.
"I don't bite." She informed, with a friendly tone. Flipping her bangs back, she turned her head to the side to watch if she would follow. Her tail flicked in anticipation to see if the mare would take up on her offer or not.

Giving a quick, subtle glance over her shoulder. The dappled mare made her way over to the patch of grass. Standing over it in an almost dumbfounded manner. "Don't think thats it? I'm not sure I understand what you mean."
She tried to put on an air that everything was fine. This mare did not need to know of her troubles and good lord did she not need a hero if this mare knew. At least Dafina believed she did not need a hero. It would only turn out worse than what had already happened.
Lowering herself to the ground, she shifted her weight a bit. Enjoying the relaxing feel of just...laying down. Her gaze turned to the other mare again before she turned her head to look off into the distance. Scanning the tree line. "No, I don't suppose you do. Even if you did I doubt your teeth would do too much damage in the first place."

With a pondering glance, "I suppose it wouldn't, would they? Probably only a kalona's would." With exaggerated disappointment, she pretended to heave a heavy sigh. ".. Aren't you glad I'm not an enemy though?" She said a bit cheekily.
It was all she could do to keep cheerful. She really didn't know what to do.. But she couldn't have left the mare to herself in the river. it just wasn't ..right. And obviously the mare wouldn't talk to her.. But who in their right mind would confide in a stranger? Well.. Except Eden that was. "But it was that darn skinwalker." She said to herself, childishly passing the blame.
But this couldn't be helped. "Oh well." She thought to herself distractedly. But she did have some ideas..
'Hey, why don't we be friends?" She suggested to the other soquili, offering her a friendly smile. "You can keep on lying to me, But you could use a friend." She didn't know whether the other mare would be offended or not by her words, but she couldn't lose anything by trying.. right? "Because you look like you badly need one.. Although I'm quite sure you have other friends too."
