Battlefield...RANDOMIZER! >O
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE CANYON FIELD!
The Canyon walls toward high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels at nearly a ninety degree angle, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces themselves are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces themselves are very damp (moss is also present due to the continuous moisture) which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff, announcing an option for land-based pokemon such as to grab and swing; however, these cannot bare that much weight and WILL break if such a thing happens. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Visually is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone.

"Sweet! New field and this one looks like a slot of fun too!"
Cracking her knuckles, Jen tossed a glance at her Raichu (who was perched on the railing of the trainer platform) before moving over and turning on the view screen; the little mobile camera gave a soft buzzing noise as it floated upwards and around Aeon, the lense focusing and zooming in on the pokemon.
Aeon, on the other hand, was looking at the pool of water far....far....very far below him. He gulped and gripped the steel bar tighter as he gazed at the cliffs around him; This was no place for him! For crying out loud, there weren't even any platforms! How was he-- His thoughts paused as he spied the little camera sphere floating this way and that around his head. Glaring at the object, he attempted to swipe at it only to have the annoying object fly out of reach. Snorting, he turned and eyed Jen with a skeptical look; that thing wasn't going to follow him.....was it?
Laughing at the expression, Jen only nodded the dreaded "yes" before motioning for him to pay attention. The battle would be starting soon.

"Just your kind of place, eh?" Luna asked her Pidgeot who was already stretching out his wings in the air, circling around Aeon.
He let out a loud "Geoooooooooooo!" The show his satisfaction as he rode an upwards draft of wind, rising in altitude. The large bird pokemon was content with the large skies. He felt right at home in the battlefield. It was his home turf afterall.
Of course, he didn't particularly LIKE the camera that followed him. In fact, he was debating on eating it. But, after recieving a stern look from his trainer, he relented. He would eat the camera AFTER the battle.

'Okay Aeon! Ready?"
"Rai........Chu?" A hopeful look was cast in her direction.
"Nu-uh! NO! This is your battle...." A squeal was heard as Jen grabbed Aeon by the scruff of his neck and his tail and dragged the reluctant pokemon over to the side of the platform nearest the cliff face. "Not Ace's!"
With that said, Jen forced Aeon to make a frantic clinging motion at the rock cliff when she let go of his tail and neck. Whining unhappily, the Raichu stuck out his tounge at the trainer before creeping downwards towards the old tree jutting out from the rocks. Reaching and clinging to the wood with a death grip, Aeon eyed the pokemon flying above him. How on earth was he suppose to reach him? An electric attack would only fry his standing places and a--- Wait! An idea popped into the pokemon's head. Fists glowing that familiar blue/green color, Aeon slammed them into the rockface with as much force as he could put behind the attack.
A thick crack raced upwards from the point of impact, forcing several "natural" rock formations to come tumbling down on the two opponents.

(100 HP? 100 HP is good : D You know, I'm kinda confused. I thought Prince was over the walls, but oh well.)
"Ehhhhh~" Luna said playfully as she saw the rocks start to shake and crumble, "You want to play it risky, huh? Okay Prince! Double edge on the wall above Aeon!"
There was a small nagging voice in both Prince and Luna's head that they would definately regret this, but nagging voices have never stopped them before! Prince ignored the falling rocks and headed straight for the wall. His eyes glowed as he got a quick boost from creating a small tailwind and his whole body started to glow as he approached the wall, luckily missing most of the rocks so far.
A good medium-sized rock fell onto his back, but he payed it no heed. His speed overrode the force of the flying rock and it mearly crumbled at contact, leaving a small bruise and some blood. Prince only slowed down slightly from the projectile, he ran nearly full speed into the canyon wall with his beak, creating quite a dent and disloging a variety of different sized rocks at Aeon. Prince also recieved a complimentary headache as he quickly flew up again, getting a headstart on Aeon's next move.

(Oh hush! D< Everyone makes mistakes!)
"CCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHUUUUUUU!"
Aeon freaked, flipped out, and basicly went nuts with panic when the rock wall above him came crashing down with a tornado-like roar. (It sounded ten-times worse then what it actually was due to the echo off the canyon walls.) Unfortunately, before the electric mouse could jump out of the line of fire, a particularly large rock bonked him on the head. Seeing double of everything, stars swirling around his head, and his vision slacking, Aeon didn't notice at first when his grip was lost on the rough wood.
He DID notice, however, then the wind started rushing around his body.
Jolted back to reality, the Raichu started flailing as he fell screaming things like: "IMMA GUNNA DDDDDDDDDDIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!" and "TELL ABI I LOVE HHHHHHEEEEERRRR!!" in his pokemon tounge. Despite the terror, it was still funny...especially with that camera thingy zooming down after him.
Leaning over the metal barriar on the trainer platform, jen yelled down to her pokemon, with a faint smile on her face. "AEON! Turn and fire a Hyper Beam!!"
Snapping back to his old self, Aeon started charging the attack; the amber discharge lit up the dark bottom of the canyon.
Charging... Charging... NOW!
Flipping, Aeon let loose the amber-colored attack at the dot flying high, high above him just before a loud SPLASH rang out to the humans above. Frankly, he didn't know if it hit or not at that distance.
At her position, Jen could laugh as the camera brought images of a soaking wet and disgruntled Aeon bobbing towards the canyon wall to being his trek back upwards.
.....Poor guy.

"Eeep~Prince! Watch out!" Luna called out, hearing and spotting the attack a little bit earlier than her pokemon. But Prince was already prepared, thanks to his sharp eyesight. He took a sharp turn to right to avoid most of the blast, but his tail feathers got singed. Again. Prince absolutely HATED when his perfect feathers get destroyed in battles. Why? WHY?
"Okay Prince, stop emoing and let's give Aeon a twister!"
"Ge..." Prince said in a tone that sounded somewhat like a pout. His eyes then glinted mischeviously. Prince realized this would be a nice chance for revenge. The whole BATTLE would be his chance. With that thought in mind, Prince started to fly in a circle formation, his eyes glowing to summon a twister to come down on Aeon.
The clouds grew dark. A small funnel of wind started to decend down to the bottom of the canyon, wild winds swirled at dangerous speeds. Prince contributed to the twister with a few flaps of his wings before breaking off, taking a good guess that water might come up along with Aeon. And water was always very bad for his wings. Prince disliked water. Especially when Albireo spits it at him.

Aeon had just crawled out of the water and shook himself dry when the howling twister raced down from the heavens. Eyes bulging, the pokemon quickly darted into a sheltered area (The fallen rocks from before had created a sort of mini-cave on the ledge), thus avoiding the twister as it danced on the water and sent a powerful spray in all directions.
Jen was in her pondering stance, one finger on her forhead with an eye clenched shut and her head tilted slightly. After a few moments, it came to her brain: the twister was absorbing a great of the water and sending back up....so.... Darting over to the mic, Jen yelled out her command to the hiding Raichu. "Aeon! Put a return stamp on that gift Prince sent ya! USE THUNDER!"
Wincing a bit at the yell that came through (hey, the blasted metal thingy was hovering right by his ear) Aeon stood and charged up his electrical attack before letting it loose. The attack hit the water spray and shot upwards, curling around the twister and sending random jolts in multiple directions at once. Soon it would reach Prince's level of hit. That particular thought caused an evil grin to spread across Aeon's face.

Luna smirked. "Exactly what we wanted! Mirror move Prince!"
The trainer was estatic that Aeon used an electric move. Out of everyone in her party, Prince was the only one who didn't have a status-causing move. Sure, he had toxic, but THE BADLY POISONED EFFECT HERE ISN'T AS GOOD AS IN THE GAME D< it wasn't as affective as causing paralysis or making a pokemon freeze for multiple turns. So they always had to make do with leeching off of others, just like Albireo leeches people's wallets.
One of the random jolts of electricity made it's way to an awaiting Prince. The large bird winced as his body felt numb from the volts of electricity racing through his body, but he hung on and forced his wings to continue to support him. His altitude dropped a bit from the decreased wing efficency, but Prince was still far above Aeon.
After the breif shock, Prince's eyes glowed white once again, recalling all memories of the painful move he had just experienced. In a trance-like state, he opened his beak and shot a large beam of electricity at Aeon.

MIRROR MOVE?! AW SNAP!
Burying her hands into her hair and ruffling it, Jen fumed and lectured herself. How could she have fallen for THAT trick?! ......Then again, the electrical attack was her only option, so long that Aeon stuck at the bottom. Turning towards the screen, she winced in sympathy as her beloved pokemon fell over and laided there; light spasms and faint sparks arched over his body as he glared up towards the shadow circling above him.
She gave a half-smile, jen could tell just how much Aeon wanted to stand and cast the finger at his opponent (along with a healthy thunder Punch to the beak); unfortunately, the static restricted his movements to his eyes and ears.
"Hey Luna!" She waved to her fellow trainer across the field, "You realize, once Aeon is free to move, he's to turn Prince into Kentucky Fried Chicken, right?" She laughed at the joke, but spoke the truth. Her pokemon had a firey temper, especially when his battle pride was bruised.

"Not if we can help it~" Luna chimed back grinning at the fellow battle enthusiast. But she was well aware that she had probably greatly pissed off Aeon. Again. Luna and Prince always had a talent for these things...
"Okay Prince, let's go in with an air cutter!"
Prince's eyes were shining with glee. YES YES YES. Take THAT you rat-mouse! He dove down into the canyon. Once near Aeon's level, he flipped and turned ninety degrees, now flying horizontal to the surface of the lake, now full again with water as the twister disappeared moments ago. He sped up when he got near Aeon, sharply cutting the air above him. The sharp compacted air that Prince created decended downward like a guillotine on Aeon.

OWOWOWOWOWOW.....That HAD to hurt.....alot....
Grimcing as the air blades flung Aeon into the rock cave he had sheltered in earlier, Jen watched through the camera as the poor pokemon kinda flopped onto his side. A large lump on his head (from hitting the rocks) and several bruises were his listed injuries...and he looked out of it too. Possibly knocked for a loop along with being paralized.
Glancing towards the open field, she watched with a sigh and a mild headshake as Prince flied around.
She pited that pokemon...for once Aeon started moving... He wasn't going to Mr Nice-guy no more....

"We should start getting some distance now Prince! Ghust Aeon into the cave wall and then SCRAM." Luna put emphasis on the last word, knowing Aeon's wrath would be...quite quite scary. She had seen the small mouse pokemon chuck many things at people - rocks, boulders, even ChuChu - and it would be very risky for Prince to stay at low altitude.
Prince gave an affermative "Geo!" before flapping has wings hard (Fwapfwapfwap) to create strong currents of wind at the battered Raichu's body before swiftly darting back into the air while the Raichu faced the attack. Prince smirked inwardly. No one messed with his feathers and gets away with it. EVER....except ChuChu.

The strong winds whirled around and loosened the rocks, causing the "cave" to collapse right on top of Aeon and the camera thingy. After the dust cleared, Jen leaned over and looked down.....
Nothing but a large pile of rocks, and snow was the only thing showing up on the video screen. The lens had clearly been crushed by the weight; now, she was going to have to strain her eyes to see what the heck was going to-
Suddenly, a powerful explosion of yellow/white lightning lit up the canyon as the rocks were blown away. Jen sweatdropped and blinked before looking down.....Sure enough, there he was....Bruised, panting, tail thrashing, ears pinned against his head, and the powerful need to destroy a certain birdy ringing forth from that electrical aura around his body.
Aeon was PISSED, beyond pissed even.
the screen flickered once, twice, before a clear image shone through. Aeon cracked his knuckles before grabbing one of the larger boulders beneath him. Gripping it and with a wild yell of rage, Aeon flung the boulder at Prince before following it up with several more.
