"Drats." Rohan thought to himself, absentmindedly. The season of winter had gone by so fast, and the snow had already begun to melt. Spring was fast in approaching, but not soon enough.. As he hooved at the ground impatiently. The cold air and the wet surroundings caused him more than enough misery. He was different from his fellow kinsman, as they WISHED for the snow to come and melt, to provide for the weather of spring. "Oh well. Too bad." Rolling his eyes at that particular thought.
Turning his head from one side to another, his eyes scanned the horizon in pursuit of entertainment. "What to do.. what to do?" He murmured softly to himself while debating the issue. From what he could see, there reamined nothing but land all around. "How incredibly dull." He said, with obvious dissatisfaction. One could tell, that the situation was none to his liking.

Keahi's ears perked forwards with barely restrained curiosity. The object of her interest was a small, slushy pile of snow. It had melted only slightly, leaving a slimy white residue on the muddy ground. Small rocks and twigs had found their way into the pile of goo, soon to be trapped in the water that would flow free with just a few more hours of sun. She felt as though she was watching the last touch of winter leave the land.
She heard a grumbling mutter from somewhere behind her. She turned slightly, a bored glimmer shining in her ruby-red eyes. Was the speaker attempting to communicate with her?

While searching, his eyes landing upon a fiery mare hidden among the snow that he had missed earlier. Alas, some company! .. A very interesting one, to say the least. "How unusual." He murmured observing the strange mare. Even from a long distance, she appeared to be.. on fire? Her markings glowed with such intensity, that he had to wonder if it was as hot as the flaming markings seemed.
At that moment, the mare chose to turn slightly giving her a full view of HIM. The two gazes connected, and judging by the gaze in her eyes, the fiery mare's eyes glimmered with boredom. "How ironic." With a wry smile, he said to himself. It would seem as if they both had the same problem themselves. Inclining his head to the side, he considered whether he should strike up conversation or not.. "It wouldn't hurt to do so.." As he shrugged his soldiers coming to that conclusion. At a leisurely pace, he covered the distance between the other soquili and himself in a span of a few minutes.
"Hello there!" He called out loud enough to be heard, when reaching a reasonable distance. "No protector I see?"
