I've got a $50 dollar gift card to gamestop & I decided that my gba needs some love.
I currently own FF dawn of souls (FF1&2), Harvest Mooon: Friends of Mineral Town, Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town, and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
I am planning to purchase:

You can never go wrong with Mario Kart, and Sonic Advance 1/2/3. Both are pretty fun. I also could recommend the good ol' Poke'mon games, Ruby and Sapphire (Emerald wasn't too good for me XD)
I also had quite a blast with The Legend of Zelda Minish Cap. Spent 2 weeks non stop getting everything on that one. And if you have friends into games too, try out Zelda: 4 Swords adventure (Or get the double pack with A Link to the Past included so you can play some solo action when they're not around.)
Nothing beats a bit of DBZ action when you're bored, so you could check out the several DBZ games available for the GBA. My last piece of recommendation could be to go with Mario. Mario Party Advance is fun, and so is Mario and Luigi: SuperStar Saga. Try 'em out =D
