It had been raingin all day as we were headed to our competition. It let up when we got there, and so we did our show san rain (thankfully). Just as we played the last not in our final song (House o the Rising Sun), it started to pour down. It was so awesome.

Coolest thing that happened durring a show..... When the saxes last minute decided to change the visual. on the field, during preformance. XD talking about rain. When we were doing our Fair parade this year it was sprinkling rain, when the band marched our of the staging parking lot, it started POURING rain! I grinned and laughed. I LOVE marching in the rain. and now we can actually do our preformances in the rain because we have turf instead of a dying grass field.

Once during a competition we changed our visual.... xD The clarinet section, I mean. Instead of doing this ripple effect thing we struck some, umm.... interesting poses. (Namely, pretending our clarinets were stripper poles.)
Good times.

One time, It was pouring rain and as we were turning around for the wedge/Halftime move, My boyfriend slipped on the 50 yard line because there was a gigantic hole of mud in the middle where he was heading. It took all our effort to not laugh at him.

We were performing the show for the school at a pep rally and so we decided to change the ending to the one song. The drill team goes up to the sideline and does the can can, so the whole band goes right up behind the drill team, makes a line, and we hum our parts while doing the can can. It was great, our band director got sooo mad at us.
