Take more of a GH note scheme, put it in Rock Band.
END OF STORY
Rock Band hit most of everything you need. Guitar Hero 3 (which I just finished on Medium) took more of a video gaming approach to it, which made a LOT of things out of place. Rock Band was good, and most things about it were good from the Guitar/Bass/Drums side. I refuse to sing because you're not supposed to give a mic to the drummer. It will only end in tears wink

They should give you the option of putting your own song and make them as you see fit...that would be awsome.
