I've never been really good with animals. They've always kept their distance from me. But lately I've had some weird experiences with them, both in real life and in dreams... Maybe someone can help out with their significance? 3nodding
I've recently had a dream where we had a place inside of our house that we fed the squirrels. (We feed squirrels in real life, so it relates). But for some reason, a little rabbit came in and was hungry! It should have run away when we moved because we were so close, but when I took a step, it came closer. It seemed to like me. smile
In the waking world, just two days ago I found a pair of small birds setting right behind me on my windowsil. They were just sitting there, looking in for a minute. I was literally a foot from them. I'd never seen a bird sit on my windowsil before, it's very low to the ground. Birds are usually messengers of some sort, but we've had hawks give us messages before. What sort of messages do little birds bring compared to hawks?
And I've been seeing mass amounts of bunnies and butterflies lately. Bunnies all summer long, butterflies a whole lot for the past two weeks. That, and spiders. I love Spider mythology, so spiders aren't as unusual as the others to me...
Are there any people here that know the symbolism of these animals that might understand what they're trying to say? redface I have a few ideas, but I'm not sure.

Butterflies are signs of increasing change and development/transformation
Rabbit deals with fears. learning to recognize our own fears and being able to over come them. And also fertility and new life
Hawks are guardians and watchers, but the little birds would depend on the species. Sparrows can represent awakening and nobility of character, Chickadee can be truthful experessions and knowledge. I will mention these 2 as they are the most common and most friendly, but if they aren't the ones you saw let me know and I will see what else I can find
Spider is creativity and fate

Thyna Spider is creativity and fate That can't be right. I'm to spiders what Hitler was to Jews, but I'm still very creative. So creative, in fact, that my friends say "Oh no!" when I say I just had a thought, and scream in terror if I even utter the words "I could make it Bet-ter."

Thank you all very much! They're very accurate and pertain to my life at this point. I do believe the little birdies were sparrows... And as for spiders, I have loved them from childhood and have a bit of dedication to them in my room. (I have those Hallowe'en spiderwebs and plastic spiders in them up all year round over my closet, and spider candles on my altar that I never light heart ) I draw and write a lot, and have been told I have lots of inspired energy to create things...
You don't have to like spiders to recieve their creative inspiration after all, Knight Terrenus. lol
...and enough about me. Thank you all for your input! It was very helpful and you're all so kind to have responded. 3nodding

The Knight Terrenus Thyna Spider is creativity and fate That can't be right. I'm to spiders what Hitler was to Jews, but I'm still very creative. So creative, in fact, that my friends say "Oh no!" when I say I just had a thought, and scream in terror if I even utter the words "I could make it Bet-ter." there are other critters that spark creativity as well, such as Beaver (who is also involved with dream work), sea lions and seals, and Hawthorn (yes I know it is a tree but I am mentioning it anyway blaugh ) But the presence of certain critters can become contrary to its intended message simply by our reactions to it, or the condition it is found in. By that, I mean if it is something we fear it could be a part of ourselves that we don't want to face. If it is dead or dying (or about to be smushed) we may not be using it apropriately or it is not balanced right. Basically, put that little spider you just smucked might already know about your high creative flow and be trying to tell you to balance it out a bit.
