I put on AZN occasionally...why not? I came across an Indian cooking/travel show where the femmy host was making remarks to the chefs he was visiting. Nothing super-offensive by normal standards, but a whopping big no-no by Extreme Left standards. One chef was frying pork chops, and the host's dialogue was something like, "PORK? So you're Christian, are you?" (chef nods; only word in English he can say is "yeah") "Christian...ah. Do you like this dish? heheh...of course you like it, you're making it. And now the pork gets fried in more oil...lots of flavor. Lots of fat! Wow. How about you teach me how to do that and I'll teach you a little English, heheh?"

In the next scene, at a different restaurant, he watches a young English-speaking female chef make a rice pudding, and the camera focuses close up on her mouth as she speaks. He later chucks her under the chin and tells her she has a great smile. They didn't do that for the previous chef!

I was trying to imagine an American host do this - not even Martin Yan, a beloved longtime Chinese tv chef, could get away with talk like that.
