Hello, the name is mud. One of mud's many uses was flinging it around, of course. There wasn't much more to do with it, really. Though, he had had fun flinging it at a rock for now, besides that, it wa spretty boring. "Puuuh. " Chokuto muttered, resting his chin on the rock and ignoring his fur where the mud was beginning to dry. The waterhole was right nearby, so he could get clean whenever he wanted.
But for now.. he preffered to wait for any moving target, yes.. That'd be much better. Pity Kwasi wasn't here; she was fun to fling mud at. Or that 'Ziza' girl he met, oooh yes, he's love to fling a bunch of mud at her! Stupid girl, thinking she was better than him, just because she was older! Puh...
But the matter at hand was boredom. Scratching his chin, the juvenile groaned slightly, flopping into his pile of mud and just staying there. Whyy was no one arrooound?

Unfortunately for her, Tabasamu was out and about today. Already slightly muddy (brothers were such a pain!), the young lioness was heading towards the water hole to get clean, humming slightly to herself. Unlike most, she enjoyed baths and preferred to keep clean, especially her white toes, which showed dirt and mud easier than the rest of her. Currently muddy brown, only a few hints of white were visible, where dried mud had already flaked off.
Skirting the edge of the muddy patch where Chokuto was sprawled, she didn't even notice the other lion, intent as she was on avoiding getting anymore mud between her toes, making her a perfect target.

An ear twitched at the sound of a small set of paws-- well, smaller than his. Chokuto rolled over, looking towards the watering hole, but before the watering hole.. there was a girl. And.. this girl.. This girl was in range! With a smirk, the boy scooped up as much mud as he possibly then leaning over the rock, sent a missle in the direction of poor unsuspecting Tabasamu-- if it didn't hit her, it'd land right next to her!
But one wasn't enough for a good was, or course not. With a laugh, Chokuto scooped up two more and shot them at her. "AMBUSH! " He shouted, turning to build up a pile to easy-scoop more ammunition.. just as soon as he saw her reaction!

The first shot missed, but landed close enough to Taba that a lot of the mud ended up on her anyway. "H-hey," she said, spinning back around to face her attacker, "That's not ver--" Whatever else she'd been meaning to say was cut off as the second barrage landed squarely on her face.
Oh. Oh that was IT. All she'd wanted to do today was get herself cleaned up and then maybe take a nap. Taba's eyes widened and she shook her head to clear the mud off, as much as she could. Scooping up a small bit of the mud from the first attack, she tossed it back at him. Hah!

Ooooooooh that had gone GREAT. Chokuto smirked, bursting out in laughter and wiping a tear off his cheek-- but his celebration was short lived as Tabasamu retaliated, and her mud blot skimmed past his shoulder. Heeey-- oh, it was ON, girl! Perking his ears in determination, he flung more and more mud in her direction, occasionally ducking behind his rock, just in case she tried to retaliate again.
"Lets see if you like that! "

Taba didn't like it, not really. While it was fun at first to fling back the mud Chokuto tossed at her, eventually the younger cub tired and lay down on the ground, panting a bit. She was covered in mud, any other color now completely obscured.
"Truce?" she asked hopefully, picking her head up to stare at Chokuto. "You win."

An ear perked as she suddenly lay down, and then it folded back. Whaaat? Already?! Figures, you can -never- expect a girl to have fun with! "You're boring. " He stuck his tongue out, jumping over his rock and walking towards her, shaking out his fur and sening little blobs of mud flying everywhere.
"I forgive you, tho. " He said, making a good 'I'm doing you a huge favor' face. "I shoulda expected that from a giirl. " He smirked, stretching out, still covered in mud. "So, what's your name, kid? "

"Hey, you're bigger n'me," Taba insisted, dropping her head back down once she was sure he was really going to stop. "Have more energy." That, and she hadn't really wanted to win anyway. Mud-flinging was a stupid boy contest. She didn't deign to reply to his snide comment about girls, sniffing disdainfully, although the effect was ruined when she accidentally inhaled a bit of mud, which prompted a brief sneezing fit.
"'m Tabasamu," she replied when she was recovered. "Who're you?"

Aww, look, the little girl was tired! How cute. "I think you're just being sissy. " He said with a smug grin, though it might be hard to tell apart through all the mud. Tabasamu... huh, that was a funny name.
"I aaam Chokuto. " The strained 'am' was merely a result of him wondering if he should just make up a mock name and bug her. "Anyway, congratulations, you are my NEEEW arch enemy Yaaay! " Here he didn't even try to hide his sarcasm.
.. Ah crap. The mud was drying under the hot sun already! With a disgruntled snort, Chokuto sat back to scratch his neck. "I better get this.. off. " He snorted, and without another word to the girl, walked right by her and made the short walk to the watering hole, jumping into the water with a noisy splash. Ooh, look at the mud swirls in the water! That was pretty cool!
"SO, Tabasamu! " He said, knowing she was still nearby-- it'd been only a few few feet from where they had been to the water. Mud was more common near water, after all! "What're you doing here? "

"Hmph," was all Taba offered in reply as she pulled herself off the ground in order to sit up.
"But I don't wanna be your arch-enemy!" Obviously, Taba had missed the sarcasm and was taking Choku seriously. ...Wait. "What happened to your old one?" she asked, curious as well as slightly worried. What if he'd chased them out of the pride? Or worse!
"Can't we just be friends instead?" Taba said pleadingly, having followed him the short distance to the waterhole, sticking her head under first, then following with the rest of her.
"My brother's put some mud out and I stepped in it so I wanted to get clean," she replied all at once after coming out from her dive. "S'important to be clean."

Oh god, she'd taken that seriously?! Fun girl, oh yes. Well, now he had more to play with, didn't he? "Ooh, nothing much, me an' the gang got together and chased 'em all the way to their mummies! They'll think twice before messing with us again! " He said, shaking a paw up into the air. Besides the gang's existence, all that had been false.
"Friends..? " He quirked a brow, tapping his chin with a paw and sitting up in the shallow waters. "I'll consider it-- but you gotta check with eeeveryone first. There's.. Uh.. My brothers, Arthas and Murasame, and there's Alamar and Makali and Hasani. " Those were simply the names he remembered, anyway. "There's also Kwasi, but she's annoying, and is a girl. " Truth be told, Chokuto only beared her because she had 'cool dreams'.
He perked his ear at her 'brother' comment. Hm... come to thing of it, she did look.. kind-of like Alamar, didn't she?

Taba shook her head, water flying everywhere. "But I didn't do anything! You started it," she said petulantly. Then again, she probably could have avoided him if she'd been paying attention.
She'd tilted her head to the side when he started listing off names. "Alamar?" Taba wrinkled her nose. "My brother Alamar?" Oh, ew. She'd have to ask his approval for this...gang thing? Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all...
"So Kwasi doesn't get a say?" That didn't seem right either.

"Well, I guess thats true. " He said, mock-thoughtfully before ducking underwater, shooting off towards the deeper water with his legs and shaking out his fur, then simply paddling around. He knew there were no crocodiles in this water.
"Ah, so you're his brother! " He said, seeming strangely unsurprised, perhaps. "Yea. He's in with us. " He nodded, closing his eyes and paddling around some more untill her next question, in which case he opened one. "Well, she's not seriously with us.. just follows us around and bugs sometimes. " He shrugged. "Anyway, I already know what her answer would be, she'd just loove another girl like her to spoil our fun! "

Taba hung back near the shore; while she liked the water for getting clean and drinking, she didn't particularly like swimming. At least Choku seemed to know what he was doing.
"One of them," she replied, ducking her head underwater again to get the rest of the mud off her ears.
"Spoil your fun? Maybe she's just trying to have fun with you, and you're being mean to her!" Her brothers did that, sometimes. Boys were so annoying and inconsiderate!

"Fun with us? "Chokuto laughed, kicking up some water over his back. "All she does is tell us to stoop~ " He grinned. "If she wanted to have fun, believe me, she's not afraid to ask. She doesn't like playing much. " He yawned, oking his head underwater to see if he saw anything neat, before peeking up again.
"She prolly just has nuffin' better ta do then bug us. " It wasn't exactly a lie, either. Kwasi didn't like the way the gang played, but she hung around. Who knows why. "'sides, she's waay to girly. "
