"Then we should head back." She smiled and turned to look back toward where Mordecai and Nyx were. "I don't think they'll miss us. They seem.... comfortable." Hopefully they'd have some time to talk and catch up since they hadn't spoken in a while.
It would be good for Nyx to hopefully get over all the confusing thoughts she had about the other stallion. It was never good to be confused for too long. "Shall we?"

 He let his gaze follow after hers for a moment, unable to stop a soft chuckle as he eyed the other two. He had thought about going back to let his mother and sister know where he would be... But, upon second thought, he was certain that both Mordecai and Nyx would be here long enough to spend the night and that his mother would understand once she was told who he'd come here with.
From there his mother would either know or assume as mothers often did...
He nodded slowly, giving her a gentle nudge to set her on her way back towards the path. "We shall."

"Hopefully your mother won't be upset that you didn't say hello" She figured that the older mare wouldn't be upset since Acheron had been down here often lately. Mordecai was still there to tell her where they'd gone and she had new company to greet too.
Heading back up the beach she made her way up the path carefully with the stallion following.

He couldn't help but chuckle as he followed along behind the mare. "I am sure that she will understand... After all, fledglings have to leave the nest every now and then. I am sure that she enjoys a bit of quiet between visits... It wouldn't be the same if I was always there."

"No, i suppose it wouldn't be." She laughed as she climbed up and off the cliffs. "I would guess that she enjoys a bit of quiet time with your father?"
She knew her own mother liked spending time with her father when there weren't little girls around to get underfoot.

"I should hope so." He gave Kalosyni's side a gentle nudge before stepping up a few paces, turning back to glance over his shoulder at her. "I am sure that Ela gives them quiet time every now and then... As for the others? I have never met two of my sisters before, although I know there names... And then there is Van."

"Van?" She hadn't heard about that sibling yet. It was saddening to think that Acheron hadn't met two of his sisters though. Families should always stick together at least in part.

"Van'Liasha; the youngest of my three older sisters." He closed his eyes, tilting his head up towards the sky as he thought of the mare he was speaking of. "She stays away from the sea for much the same reasons as I do... But she is more likely to come back and visit every now and then. I am sure that you will meet her someday, if only by chance."

"I will hope that i do one day then." She smiled as she turned and headed toward the forest. It must have been so nice to have a family as large as Acherons. With one that large it would always mean there would be someone to listen to problems or to tell things to if you needed to talk .

Family could be nice... But it could also have its down sides and moments that one would not wish to speak of; his brother, for instance. While it was not a terrible thing for Kalosyni to meet his sisters, mother or father he was not entirely sure that he would want her crossing paths with Trucido.
"So... Shall we begin our journey? Back to the woods or somewhere else before night falls upon us?"

"Oh yes, that is what we came here for after all." She nodded as she headed toward the forest. If they made it far enough they would be able to watch the sun set behind the mountains in the distance.
"I do hope that one day i can have a family as big as yours. It seems nice to always have someone to talk to"

"It can be nice... Sometimes. Otheres?" His wings shifted in a sort of shrug before settling back down. "I suppose you come to appreciate silence more than you would otherwise. While it is nice to know that there will always be someone there, it is equally nice to know that there are wings and winds to carry me away."
Her company, although, seemed a bit different. While the conversation was enjoyed he had no doubt that, between them, there could be moments of silence shared as well. It was a good, if not strange, feeling.

"I am used to the quiet more often than not. None of my family is really loud." Her father had a playful streak but he wasn't as boisterous as she would have bet he was as a colt.

"We seem to enjoy a lot of quiet by the sea... There is laughter when there are foals and when there are stories to be told... And there are serious moments as well. It all seems to move in a cycle." He picked up his pace slightly, enjoying the warmth of their movements as the air got cooler the closer they moved to the forest.

"It sounds wonderful." She laughed as she picked up her pace to follow after him. She thought she'd like to be around foals one day. Her mother said that she had loved it when the girls were foals.
