Since this is an 18+ guild, I was starting to notice that lack of "mature" topics, so I'm going to make a few.
Anyway, to start with a blunt subject...Porn.
What are you're opinions on it? Does it bother you in any way or if your boyfriend/husband watches it? Do you ever watch it?
I have rarely seen any porn mainly because most of it doesn't particularly appeal to me. I know that most of it is targeted towards guys, so this is probably most of the main reason why I probably don't find it appealing. I feel that most of it I've either seen (or mostly described to me) has been very lacking of emotions in the characters or emotional bonds that they would share. I'm not really a romance kind of person, but I do enjoy reading romance novels every so often, and if porn were shown in the context that sex scenes in these novels have, I think there would be a huge increase in the amount of female porn watchers.

Meh i dont much care for porn at all, i like Playboy tho, cos its not only classy but there r some really good reads. (dang expensive tho)

Very ironic that I was just talking to my brother about this today (we happen to be like best friends and what-not) while on our way home from the lumberyard!
Both he and I agree that it's okay as long as it doesn't appear forced in anyway and that it sure beats getting a girl pregnant in a guy's point of view and it sure beats getting pregnant from a girl's point of view. It's not like it is doing any PHYSICAL harm. I always thought it was better than trying to suppress one's feelings of sexual activity when viewing such activities.
My bottom line is, so long as the woman isn't doing it out of spite or agrees to doing it then it's okay. I see no problem with pornography as is. The couple (if there is one, i.e., boyfriend-girlfriend, husband-wife, etc.) agrees that there's no shame or doesn't mind the other or both doing it, then it's fine. 3nodding It's just when one or both don't agree to it that there's problems (at least in my book anyway).

This may be something I have to be independent about...

I was so surprised to learn my mom considered masturbation - at all - cheating!
My poor father, no wonder he is so high strung and stressed. D=
He has heart and back problems!

Bodies have physical needs. Porn is a tool to help.
Anything can be missused, so it can be bad if people are using it in an unhealthy manner or to an unnatural degree.

Hehe funny my boyfriend and I just finished watching a few of the little episodes I have on my computer.
Honestly I don't see why most porn is soooo designed for guys! I mean there is really nothing appealing about a girl going down on a guy 4 or 5 times (at least that doesn't appeal to me!). I really don't have a problem with my boyfriend watching it (with or without me) sex is after all a stress reducer. And with both of us working and having a 3 year old running about most of the day it is hard to find time where we can be uninterrupted!
I think that it is unhealthy to repress desires too much... But there is also a limit that needs to be put on these things as well!

im perfectly fine with my boyfriend watching porn...just as long as he doesnt watch to much of it. the way i see it there is a fine line between watching it to "relieve" yourself and just being well...way to into it. so yeah...thats what i think.

I understand exactly what you mean by hentai being funny, but there have been some good ones, despite the obvious target audience being males. I agree that watching porn is better than getting someone pregnant, etc...but that too much is not good. But its like that with a lot of things like:eating too much or too little, etc... There are some places you can get good, classy porn made for women.Its just not prominent yet.

My main disagreement with porn is from a feminist view, ie. I find it exploitative and it seems to be the cause of a lot of sexual stereotypes, plus "lesbians" who are actually straight girls getting guys off etc. I don't really care if my boyfriend watches it.
Also, I find most porn for women falls into the idea that women are stimulated mentally and men visually...wwomen can get off on "hardcore" stuff too, you know.

I'm not really a feminist, but I do get annoyed by how much male oriented porn there is.
I've been told its really hard to find hentai for women though, if you are into it.

Oh, I realise there are some 'hardcore' sites aimed at women - I more meant that overall they buy into the "only men are visual" idea.
Plus there very much seems to be this idea that only men look at porn - or at least that's what I've noticed. Maybe other people's experiences are different.

I've been told its really hard to find hentai for women though, if you are into it. it is really hard to find stuff that is derectied to females. im not like compleatly into it. but eh...every once in a while i just go around and see what there is. and hentai...i just think thats funny. if you like it then more power to you...i dont know why but whenever i watch an episode i cant help but laugh.

I watch porn/hentai, but not in a daily/weekly basis. Actually, last time I was something related was more than 3 months ago xd
Yes, it does lacks of some emotion. It makes sex look like another kind of greeting. Like meeting someone in the street and saying "Hi! How are you?; Wanna have some coffee?" would be as normal as "Hey, you're hot, let's have sex" xp
