He hadn't seen his sister in quite a while now. It must have been one... maybe two moons since they had been separated. But Djakovo wasn't worried. Far from it, for he knew he and his sister had a special bond that somehow or other would always bring them back together. So in that aspect, he was covered.
But that didn't stop him from wishing she was back with him. He had grown up used to the companionship that he and his only sibling shared, and without her, he felt a little lost and out of sorts. He only hoped he would see her again soon.
The dark lion frowned slightly as he walked, more out of habit than anything. He hardly had any expression on his face that was any more than that slight frown of his, which rather than giving him a sour look, seemed to fit quite well with the rest of him. He was always tense, as he had been for the longest time, and each step he took was slow and smooth, flexed as if waiting for something to happen that would make him whirl and attack. Of course, that was just who he was and it was doubtful that he woudl change any time soon. But it did make meeting others harder for the spotted lion, though truthfully, he much preferred knowing only a few close friends.

Azhara's mind was still spinning with everything she had learned from her great-aunt. She was so pleased to have found the red lioness. She was so familiar and yet so unknown at the same time. The younger lioness was learning quite a bit about her heritage and, at the same time, about herself.
But, too much of a good thing was never good, so she was taking some time to herself, walking leisurely through the field. Her blue eyes were bright, taking in the sights around her. The land was still new to her and she delighted in all of the little details, right down to the different types of flowers.

Quite unlike Azhara, Djakovo took little interest in the land. If anything, the scenery around him seemed just the same, and the little details were not ones that he cared much to discover. If he were to walk about with his eyes shut, it would have made little difference to him.
As it were, he managed to notice the bigger things as he wandered along quite aimlessly, and the movement of white and reddish brown caught his eye. He paused a moment then, wondering if he should just turn around and walk the other way. It was so much easier if he just didn't have to deal with anyone new right then. Of course, he didn't much like dealing with new people in any other situation either.
But she was headed right toward him, and as much as she seemed engrossed in the world around her, she might look over at any moment and she would see him, regardless of which way he was walking. Djakovo knew himself to be a rather antisocial creature, so he couldn't imagine that she might feel the same way about meeting him. Which meant, either way, he might have to deal with meeting her. So it was just easier for himself to keep going as he had, and perhaps cling to the little shred of hope that maybe she, like himself, didn't really care.
