I was wondering if anybody was going to March with the Band there. There is a boy (Trombone) from our Band going.

We were going to go but decided on the Fiesta Bowl instead.

The Mellophonist We were going to go but decided on the Fiesta Bowl instead. My band went there last year, but as I'm a freshman this year, I wasn't there. Anyway, we MIGHT be going to the rose parade next year; its tough for us to go because we're a pretty small band. Last time my school's band went to the rose parade a few years ago, they had to have a bunch of alumni to march with them just so they had enough people X_x; but the people who decide if we're going next year (2006) went to see us a few weeks ago at a band review we did really good at ^^ so, hopefully we'll go..

Oh kick a**!!! Im from Kauai and i was offered to go...but i didnt..hehehe but theres like...maybe 30 more ppl from our school going. ^___^ They kick a**..they were like..playing for the town a few hours ago! %___%

I am from a small school in south east michigan. Our school board barely supports the band at all. They are all about the sports. -_- So basically we don't get opportunities like that at all. That and our band consists of 36 people.

Ah well; I can settle for working on the city float for now. whee Hhm...it's actually not all that hard...just be determined enough and you'll get there...thing is though..you have to look spiffy and hold your instrument EXACTLY as it should be..or else they don't like you O__O T___T thats mean...one of my friends got kicked out of the Rose Parade cuz he...did something...hehe

um yah the whole high school band is going.. about 10 pple from the middle school (8th graders) colorgaurd just cuz their so dam good and mabe 1/2 the 8th graders from the middle school cuz they are just so dam good. i choose not to cuz i hate colorgaurd practice 6 times a week

I'm going to be in it. I'm the the Bands of America Honor Band. I fly out to California this coming monday. I'm really excited about it too. ^_^

abeb Nah, we're not in the Rose Parade...we're doing the Citrus Bowl parade down in FL... Me too! eek I'm from red land...I marched two spots behind the budweiser horses(I smelled horse butt throughout most of the parade though)...you?
