can vampires cry? im writing a fanfic (here in teh subforum) and i would like to know if it would be bad to have vampire bella cry....let me know!

No,I don't think so anyway, not the Twilight ones. In the end of New Moon, when they get back, there's something along the lines of "Then she threw her arms around Edward, and she looked like she would be crying if that were possible."

it all depends on who's telling the stroy. In Ann Rice's Chronicals they could. it was just very rare.
my advice is do what you want, be your own writer. I mean, Miss Meyer made up a whole different reason why they stayed out of the derrect sunlight.

Okay, I know everyone already said this, but the Twilight vampires cannot cry. I think that someone asked that question at the book signing in woodbury.

I'm fairly certain it's impossible.
It's rather sad that they can't express sadness through tears. It really does help people sometimes.

I don't think they can, but you can make them do anything you what since your the writer.

I don't believe that Stephenie has her vampires cry.
HOWEVER;;; when writing a fan fic you are REALLY open to creative freedom, you can essentially do what you want. Also, you could twist it into the fact that Bella didn't turn until she was older-she'd been human so long, and a vampire for such a short time, that she hadn't forgotten human instincts like crying.
Makes sense to me to let her cry, but that's up to you. You're the writer XD

Just as everyone else has pretty much said before me, I doubt Stephanie Meyer has her vampire's cry.
