So what is everyone taking in school this semester? Are you going to school? High school or post secondary?
This semester I'm taking it easy and I'll be taking only two first years courses, Anthropology and Linguistics. I'm taking Ling to really see if I like languages and if I do well and enjoy it I might start thinking about what careers I could do with that. As for Anthro, it might be fun. Still need to redo Criminology and Sociology, but I'll lave that for another time. I'm only 20, I still have time to be lazy.

I am in high school and glad for class changes. Piano I and Drawing II! No more idiots looking for an "easy" class. Yay for good classes! We're both in for interesting studies. Hope you like linguistics.

Well, I'm not looking forward to any type of forced education, but I will be taking a real Drawing class for the first time this semester with one of my bestest friends so that will be nice.

Be an example to your men, in your duty and in private life. Never spare yourself, and let the troops see that you don't in your endurance of fatigue and privation.
I will be starting second semester 2 weeks from Monday. I'm considering dropping choir for Social Studies because I'm running out of patience for the lack of discipline. I will also be taking Athletic Training in place of health since health was only a 1 semester class.
Always be tactful and well-mannered and teach your subordinates to do the same. Avoid excessive sharpness or harshness of voice, which usually indicates the man who has shortcomings of his own to hide.

Nyz, I don't like forced education either but no one's making me learn to play the piano. They'd need a sniper and several elephants to stop me. XD
@Sprainogre: What did you get your degree in?

out of all the classes I've taken so far linguistics has been one of two where you consistently use what you learn (the other being German, but its a language so that's a given)

Orly? Do you enjoy it?
Drawing is going very well for me, my teacher is a wonderfully crazy Andy Warhol and Van Gogh fanatic. 3nodding

Well, she is a drawing teacher, so she puts emphasis on positive and negative space, line quality, etc. She also includes her very own "Public Service Announcements" about everything from feminism to the evils of the US government to religion. These provoke very interesting and enlightening conversations that often result in a better perspective and lost class time. 3nodding She's great, and the Art Club is taking a trip to New York in a month or so.

Sounds like fun. o_o Yayz! Spring break is here! No more waking up too early and doing homework until late for the next ten days. >.<
We had a debate in art class today about abortion and Republican policies, in which the only Republican in the class became very ticked off. XD
