Hey guys! I hope everyone had a happy holiday. As you can see we had some holiday recruiting and as a result we have a little over 10 new members. Yay for active people! (we got a few)

So here are some changes, ideas, & such that I'd like for us to get the kinks out of

-As Ange pointed out, the graphics although they are superfabulous (I'm not conceded at all) don't really have a theme. oops. I think I went a smidge overboard with paintshop. Anyways we're trying to find a cool guild symbol. If you have any ideas of your own please post pics or descriptions in the guild symbol contest center. I think it would be super cool if it had pirate-y colors (black, brown, grey, white, etc etc. Nothing neon) and was a relatively simple symbol so that member's could recreate it for contests & such. Let us know your thoughts!

-As you can see, we added yet another forum. I felt guilty with all that gold laying around in the guild account (unfortunately, it can't be transferred to prizes or anything. This is one of the few faults with the guild system). I don't have the slightest idea as to what to do with it. Please post your ideas here or in the forum. We need some. biggrin

-As always we're looking for more fun contests ideas & ways to get people active. I'd appreciate some new ideas.

Oh & extra kudos to Ange for starting her own contest. You're a beast wink

We have to start cracking down on non-active members.
Give them warnings (about 3) then out they go.
Just thinking outloud.

I don't mind have inactive members. You usually get a large handful of those before you get an active one (I've been surfing through the captain's guild). Plus if nothing else the numbers look good. However, I think we do need to target a different audience so we find more active people and perhaps we need more ways for members to be active. I just need to figure out what those are.
