It's a lovely article that raises questions brought from pro-life opinions, that shows how their logic is more flawed than we normally point out in debates. It shows why in a country like America, considering a fetus a human just will not work well.

Ask anyone who believes this what their opinions are of Invitro fertilization and the scores of "human babies" that are created only to be stuck in frozen storage for 20 years (a crime against humanity since the odds of disabilities increases with storage time, or so I am told), only to be thrown away if the original couple does not want anymore children and does not permit them to be given to other couples.

It would also make miscarriage the equivalent of manslaughter, and miscarriage caused by drinking/smoking/bad eating habbits/staying at work/etc equivalent to negligent homicide.
