 The travel from forest to sea was easy enough despite the time it took since one of the three members of their small group could not spread wings to take flight. It passed quickly with conversation between them and amusement following when soft, musical laughter could be drawn from the mare whose name he had come to know as Nyx. He could understand why his nephew might be enchanted by her even if he could not understand why it would take him so long to see her again. The breeze rolling towards the plains from the seas seemed to be a bit warmer and the warmth lifted her spirits just as well as the rays of the sun did. She spread her wings, giving them a slight rustle before drawing them back against her body, smiling more brightly than she had in days. "It's... So lovely."

 She had enjoyed the trip to the sea with the other two. It was nice to have someone to talk to while she walked and with the three of them the conversation had been wonderful.
As they neared the cliffs she smiled. "Oh ... I never noticed how the clouds look from up here reflected in the water." Usually the skies were clear when she'd come to visit. He had gone down to the beach to visit his grandmother and the rest of his family for a while. It wasn't often he drug himself down there since even grown his wings were still rather large for his body. It was harder to keep the salt and sand out of them than it was for the rest of the family.

"Oooh..." She stepped up beside the darker mare, peering down at the view below. "It's so beautiful. Is it always like this?"
"No, it's not." As he spoke his eyes were on the two of them; more specifically, on Kalosyni. He then shook his head as he headed towards the path before looking back to the darker of the two mares. "... Do you mind if I stretch my wings a bit? I think you know the path well enough by now..."

"No, it's even more beautiful when the sun is setting. He brought me down here once to see it. The colors were amazing." She smiled at Nyx before she noted the stallions words. "Oh no. Go ahead. I'll be fine." She did know the path well enough to make it down there on her own.
He headed out of the cave where he'd been talking to his grandmother and stretched his wings once out in the sun. It was at least a bit warmer today and he could maybe soak up a bit of it before he headed back up.

He took a few steps away from the two mares before dashing off of the edge of the cliff as he had done the first time he had lead Kalosyni here. He held his wings tightly against his body as he dove, spreading them just in time to catch a current that lifted him back up into the air. Somewhere deep down he supposed that he could be showing off... But it wasn't like he wouldn't have done this if there weren't two mares watching him...
She gasped, feeling her breath catch hard in her chest as he ran off the cliff. She had never seen anyone do something like that before. Why would they even think of...?
She took in another breath as she saw Acheron sweep back up into the air above them, her eyes wide at the sight. It was amazing to see someone who seemed so... Natural at this. "Is.... Is he always like that when he flies?"

"I think so ... i've only seen him do it once before though" She remembered the dive and how she'd thought that was suicide. He had come out of it last time so she figured he had practice. "It is nice to watch though. He does it so well." She almost envied him but she also thought that she probably wouldn't like being up that high. "Shall we?" She nodded toward the path down to the cliffs. "Unless you'd like to join him?"
He looked up as he saw a shadow slide across the sand and raised a brow. That had to be his uncle Acheron up there. No one else had that same silhouette. He stretched his wings out and wondered what he was doing back here so soon.

She watched him for a moment before shaking her head, quickly stepping closer to the other mare. "Oh, no... I need far more practice before I'm ready for something like that." She could just as easily follow Kalosyni and meet with Acheron again once he landed safely on the ground.
He circled above for a moment, gaining his momentum before gliding along the beach, looking down beneath him. He could see Kalosyni and Nyx moving carefully down along the trail together... And he could also see something else.
He flew lower so that he could get a better view, unable to keep himself from smirking as he recognized who it was. He brought his wings in so that he could drop a bit lower, spreading them to catch a drift that would make it easier to glide down and land on the beach. "It is a good thing you're here, Mordecai."

"I'm sure you could be just as good once you get practice. You could even ask Acheron to teach you!" She smiled at the other mare before she started down the path. She'd seen the stallion come out of hte sky and knew he had to be down there somewhere.
He tilted his head as his uncle landed not far from him. "It is?" He shifted his wings, resting one pair up behind his head as he tucked the other against his sides, as he wondered what the other was talking about.
"So i could see you show off?" He grinned a bit as he poked fun at the other stallion.

"Oh, no, I could never ask him something like that..." She shook her head, pausing for a moment as she did so in order to keep herself from losing her footing. "I'm not sure I would want to fly like that anyways... It seems so dangerous, even if he's done it before. I don't think I'd like dropping like that..."
He snorted, giving his head a light toss as he flexed his wings once more before drawing them in against his sides. "No, if I wanted to show off for anyone I would have done more tricks before landing... It is a good thing that you are here because there just so happens to be a pretty little lady looking for you, nephew."

"It can't be that dangerous and you don't have to drop like that i don't think." She made it down to the bottom of the cliff and shook herself off after stepping out of the way so Nyx could come down. "Oh ... it looks like someone else is there."
"Pretty lady?" He looked confused for a moment before a light went off in his head. "Nyx! .... how did she get down here?" She'd never been down here before and she wasn't flying so how would she be here if Acheron was down here and she wasn't?

"It looks like it's that dangerous. I... Think that my heart would stop beating if I tried something like that." Her brow furrowed sightly as she continued following after Kalosyni, wings twittering slightly as she glanced up. "There is?"
"Wonderful! So you were the Mordecai that she was talking about... A good thing. I would have hated to have lead her all the way down here chasing after a figment of her imagination. She seems like a sweet girl." He nodded slowly as he glanced back over his shoulder. "And it looks like she and Kalosyni have found their way down to the sands."

"It looks like fun to me aside form the height." She laughed softly as she looked at the other mare for a moment before she turned back toward the two stallions. "Yes, see ... there's someone with him. Come on, we should catch up"
"Kalosyni?" He didn't know who that was. "Why did you bring Nyx down here? Do you know her too?" She hadn't said anything about knowing his uncle before.

"The height isn't bad if you aren't paying much attention to it..." And if you weren't falling from it. The one time she had flown too far and lost the strength in her wings she had panicked when she began to fall, barely managing to catch herself in time for a crash landing. She had cried a good bit until she'd been found and reassured that all was well.
As the other mare began to move she picked up her own pace, not wanting to be left alone. "I'm coming!"
"Kalosyni would be the darker two of the mares coming towards us; the one that you wouldn't be familiar with if your Nyx is our Nyx." He smirked, unable to keep his eyes from dancing at the idea of his nephew's confusion. "I know her now... I did not until today. I brought her down here because Kalosyni thought that she should see the sea... And she thought there might be a chance of you being here."

"I'm not much for heights at all. I'll just stay down here on the ground." She laughed as she trotted across the sand toward Acheron and the unfamiliar stallion.
He looked toward the two mares coming toward them. "Yes .. that's my Nyx." He nodded as he shifted his wings so they weren't blocking his view. The other mare was strange but not so much. She looked a bit like the sky that Acheron talked about that he'd never seen.

"It is about time the two of you made your way down here? Caught up in girl talk while I was up in the sky?" His brow lofted slightly as he turned towards the two mares, flashing a smile at Kalosyni before guiding his gaze to Nyx. "Look who I found."
She paused for a moment so that she could look up from the sand in the direction of Acheron's voice, feeling warmth rush to her cheeks as she caught sight of Mordecai before looking to the stallion that had acted as their guide. "You found him!"
