She was far from home, but she was on a mission. She had traveled nonstop in order to keep the trip short, but she knew that Darius would be worried out of his mind. Even now, she could feel his nervousness. She had been gone for a while and he didn't know where she was. He was pacing and thinking about going to someone for help.
Pulling herself out of her mate's mind, the seeress focused herself on her task ahead. Her dreams had become troublesome as of late, and she had felt a strong desire to investigate. A few more minutes of brisk jogging and she would have reached her destination. She hoped she wouldn't be chased out or attacked. That wasn't generally the Outriders' way of doing things, but Hallie was always thinking of the worst. One quick mental search of the area, however, revealed that she wouldn't run into trouble. It seemed no one was patrolling this part of the border at the time.
The female slowed to a fast walk, then to a stroll, eventually coming to a complete stop at the very edge of the Outriders' lands. Despite having secured the area in her mind, she was still attempting to convince herself that she had to do this. Her dreams wouldn't stop if she didn't do something fast. She had to figure out what her dreams were telling her.
Taking a deep breath, her slender form slipped into the bushes and disappeared into the packlands.

Black and gray darted through the bushes on the outskirts of the packlands. Two pairs of green eyes were alive with the excitement of their games. Before, they had played hide and seek. When they both seemed to find the other within minutes, the game grew boring. Now, they were attempting to play tag. They seemed to be matched in speed, however, so it seemed only a matter of time before this lost its fun.
"You're it!"
"Nu-uh, you're it now!"
"I said you're it!"
Slowing down, her little chest heaving as she attempted to catch her breath, Abra turned to her brother and laughed. "How about a truce?" she offered, realizing that neither could gain the upper hand. Orion nodded, and so ended their game of tag.
Sitting down, the black puppy licked her chest in order to fix the ruffled fur. Orion sank to his belly and eyed his sister thoughtfully, ideas brewing inside his head. Spotting the look he was giving her, Abra eyed him cautiously and flicked an ear in his direction. As if this was some sort of cue, the male sprang to his paws and pounced on her. Giggling, then growling playfully, Abra tumbled over so that she ended up on top with him pinned to the ground.
"You know that never works on me," she gloated, head raised high. Orion growled and pushed on her belly with his hind paws. The sensation upset her and Abra quickly jumped off of him.
"Cheater!" He stuck his tongue out in response. Then, they both started laughing.
