Apparently they don't care much for Gaia's rules either. I went onto the pro-life guild today and found a thread where they planned to "Raid" The abortion debate in the ED. The threads title "RAID: Battle plans". Quote: So, a little birdy (named KP,) tells me that we're planning a raid on The Abortion Debate. I'm in. But we need to have a plan of attack, or else we're just going to look like idiots. I propose the following strategy: 1) We need to go in with 10 literate individuals. 2) We bait them into Ad Hominem and other pre-baked bullshit by sending in a religious troll first. 3) After three or so of them post, we strike, citing fallacies and subjective arguments. 4) After we smash and crash for an hour or so, we leave. 5) Repeat as often as possible for two weeks, or until the thread is recycled. Remember folks, we're not going to change any minds, but we can trash that pitiful excuse for a debate. Now let's discuss common Pro-Choice arguments and how to counter them... So they plan to troll the ED and harass other members... But after a little birdy announced this to the Abortion debate thread, the member who apparently thought out the entire raid posted: Quote: I am breaking my vow against my better judgment. On that note, Chains4w's post is misleading. We do not condone trolling and that particular word slipped into that thread without the consent of any mod. If a Troll comes into this thread, regardless of who they are, regardless of what they represent, it should be our duties as Gaians to report them. And if any of my peers in that Guild disagree with me, I will gladly step down, if I can't have them removed first. And then goes back into their thread to post: Quote: It can't be tomorrow. That is not enough time, at all. We are being discussed. I'm surprised it took as long as it did. There is nothing to fear. When we decide on a date, we'll probably confirm via a method that is not public. I am absolutely disgusted. A lot of the members in our guilds may not get along but I never thought they would stoop trolling. What dissapoints me the most is how two-faced their supposed leader is, claiming that they could never support trolling in their guild and then going back and planning the entire thing. I've never seen these kind of tactics from our guild and I'm glad. I don't think I could be part of a guild who bullies, harasses and throws dignity and common courtesy to the wind so they can throw a few cheap shots.

I reported the guild because they don't have a way to report individual members (that I know of) in the guild. What they're planning is against the Rules and Guidelines of Gaia and the TOS. 3. No stalking. Persistent harassment of an individual or group of individuals against their wishes is not permitted on Gaia Online. If someone asks you to stop, please leave them alone. Continued harassment will result in punishment. Under the TOA it's part J. j. intentionally interfere with the operation of Gaia Online or any Member's enjoyment of it, or intentionally post inflammatory statements to get responses ("Trolling")

Apparently they've been keeping an eye on us as well because they moved the thread (Into crew only territory since I can't find it) and posted this. The original event planned by the mods was completely within the Guidelines of Gaia (so far as we could tell). Whatever we choose to do, we will NOT support or condone any activity involving trolling. End of discussion. However, someone brought to my attention that a thread raid, no matter how civil, may be considered "stalking". I am going to ask a Mod for clarification. Until then, sorry for the confusion. The thread is not gone, it's just been moved. I suppose it's a good thing I took screenshots eh?

I reported that to a mod earlier today, and they passed it on. Other than that, I'm tempted to report the flames that they throw at pro-choicers; have you looked at their guild? I know we poke fun at them sometimes, but in many of their posts, they plan out call us sluts. |: Oh, and here's the reply: Mod's name Thanks a lot for letting me know. BUT anyway... Because I'm in the pro-choice guild, I check out the pro-life guild sometimes because they normally have articles about abortion listed, but because they are planning on sending a troll and then raiding the ED, I thought I'd inform a moderator. There is no excuse for 1) invading a guild and 2) planning to troll. And not only that, but on a time basis as well.

I know a few people have reported it, and frankly it's pathetic. Amusing, sad and pathetic all at the same time.
If they're sick of getting schooled in the Abortion Debate Thread, they should stop posting there, simple as that. If they're sick of 'losing' then they should stop playing, not stoop to the unbelievable low of trying to flame the thread to death.
I thought we were supposed to be the childish ones? Stamping our feet, and throwing tantrums because we refuse to give up all of the wild, unprotected sex that we have with multiple partners just so we can kill babies.
And here they whine because they can't stand the shame of not being able to win an internet argument, so they resort to breaking rules and flinging s**t like apes. It's mostly sad. I really can't even laugh, the more I think about it, the sadder it gets.
At any rate, they know they're caught and mods are alerted so they're going to have to be very careful about what they say. My report button is getting very itchy.

They probably want the thread recycled so they can start their own abortion "debate" thread, replacing the comprehensive information about abortion and related topics with Bible quotes and pictures of "aborted fetuses"
And don't forget, the rules don't apply to you when you're saving people. Whether it's trolling for life or stealing a Pagan girl's boyfriend, if it's in the name of God it's always justified.
