i really don't like the FF series but if i had to choose one it would be FF7.
that one was the best.......but i say Valkyrie Profile 1 and 2 is the Square Enix out there!

all Final Fantasy series are great though if i were to rank them starting from 7 upto 12, i'll rank them in this way:
1. Final Fantasy 7- dude, it's the start of the final fantasy series' reign. this is the first final fantasy series to make a mark on the people. though the graphics were not that good, advent children really make-up for it.
2. Final Fantasy 10- in my opinion, it has the best storyline. I really like the change in gameplay of this game. moreover, i like the role of tidus in the game. it's really touching to see him and yuna part their ways.
3. Final Fantasy X-2- go GIRL POWER! i just like it when girls are given the roles of the heroes. i just like the sidequests in these games and how one can work for their desired endings (bcoz there are 3 endings of this story).
4. Final Fantasy 8- i like Squall. He's cool and handsome. Almost all characters here are either pretty (gilrs) or handsome (boys).
5. Final Fantasy 12- i really don't like how final fantasy removed its own trademarks (Ifrit and Shiva). they really changed the aeong/gf you could summon. though there are a lot of changes made that i don't like, it's gameplay make -up for it. i like the new hunter system they've introduced.
6. Final Fantasy 9- i hate how they made Zidane looked like a cat. i don't really appreciate the ending of the story. still, i gave this game the credit for creating Vivi. Hurray Vivi! (i just like the cuteness of this guy. i like the way he is portrayed as a mysterious person)
