Base Rules & Regulations
Base - Test Thread
1st thing a team member must do is enter their base and get their stats. Stats must be listed at the top of every battle post. (But we'll get to that later wink )
Stats are as follows: attack, defense. Members must roll 2 die in a one post. The first number will be attack, the second defense.
The die will be a 6-sided die.
(to see example, look above this post)
The bases are not a battle forum. Members of a team cannot invade and attack members of another team in their base. It's just plain rude.
Each team will decide if they can attack on an even number, or an odd number
errr....that's basically it for the base r&r.
uh... I lied... ADDITION!!
If...you roll for your stats & you get a 1 and/or 2 you are allowed to re-roll because those numbers are so sucktastic you deserve a do-over
Battle Rules & Regulations
Battle Forum - Test Thread
When you enter a battle forum, state so as such *enters battle forum* In the same post, list your stats. ex: attack 7, defense 5
During battle, color your text your teams color so we all can know who is on who's team.
Microsoft - green
Nintendo - blue
Sony - black & bold
(Sony must be bold but those on Nintendo or Microsoft may bold their text too if they like)
moves are stated in the third person but do not name yourself. we know who's moving because your name is already listed when you post.
when attacking do the following in this exact order:
1) list your stats (you do this in EVERY post), HP (HP will be the same = *insert the number hp will be here*), and state whether you can attack on even, or odd. (YOU CAN ONLY ATTACK ON 1 OR THE OTHER. NOT BOTH)
2) type "attacks" then name the person you are attacking
3) roll a six sided die. Do not say whether or not your attack hit.
4) End your turn
Whoever was attacked
1) will list their stats (example. attack 8, defense 4) & whether they can attack on a even, or an odd number.
2)will state whether or not the attack hit. This is how you figure it out: Ex -if your attacker said they can only attack on even numbers & the die landed ojn a 2. Then they hit you. If the die landed on a 3, they missed.
If the attack hit do steps 3 & 4, if not skip to step 5
3) will subtract their defense from their attacker's attack to see how much damage was done. Ex arrow 7 - 4 = 3 (YOU WILL TYPE IT OUT) EDIT: if the defense # is greater than the attack # then 1 pt in damage will be done automatically.
4) subtract the damage from the attack from their HP ex: 20 - 3 =17 hp remaining
5) declare attack on their attacker
6) roll a die
7) end their turn
Thather, rinse, repeat until someone's KOed
trash-talking is allowed. But keep it civil, no flaming or you loose automatically.
ADDITIONAL RULES!!!
If you forget to roll during a turn in a battle, you auto-matically miss!
If a player has to leave for an extended period of time they have the option of "escaping." During their move, instead of typing "attacks" & roll a die, the player will type "escapes" (Escaping is essentially a forfit) But in doing so the person they're battling will automatically get 5 exp. But if their opponent wishes to keep battling then they quote the player's "escape" and reply "pause." Meaning that when the player returns the battle is resumed where it was "paused".
Next addition: Whether a player is even or odd is depended by which team their on and thereby is permenate.
*If there is enough uproar about this it'll be switched to being up to each particular player and the decision will be permenant for an entire battle. After a battle is over the player can change it if they want.*
ANOTHER ADDITION!
yes players can level up. We're still working out specific details but for the time being it is as such:
if you beat a person in a battle, you get 10 exp
- everyone starts at level 1
- to get to level 2 you need 40exp.
- from 2 to level 3 you need to earn 60 exp
-from 3 to level 4 you need 80exp
so yeah it goes up in increments of 20.
When you do gain enough experiance to level you, you roll a 4 sided die. Whichever number it lands on is how much your stats increase. (say your attack =5, and your defense =6. You level up -yay- and roll your die. It lands on 3. Your new attack is 8 and your new defense is 9)
arrow HP automatically increases by 10 when you level up
I think that's all for now!
Under the titles for each set of rules is a link to test threads for a base and battle forum. Go and check it out and try it out. We're hoping that we can have an active RP here.
You can shout out things to the enemy. All gang up on one member, make plans, anti-[insert-company] banners posted in the attack posts/sig pro-[insert-company] banners in posts/sig. It's going to be amazing! There can be a thread entitled "Master Chief's hut" and we go in and plow it down. We can raid one called Reggie's manor, etc.
