Hi!
I don't know if I told you guys before, but I hurt my left arm and right knee back in May/June. I've taken a break from hard training and have slowly trying to get back my strength and flexibility over summer. But now when I've started training "light" again, I find that these things are really difficult to do(I could do them before summer); I can't do them gracefully anymore or I do something else wrong, since my friends says it looks wierd all of a sudden. crying I hope the damage isn't permanent.
Could anyone help me by giving me some advice on how to rehabilitate (sp?) my leg and arm better?
I don't really know what you call these things in english, so I'll just try to translate what my shifu says:
Xuanzi Zhuanti 720 degree + Dieshucha
Side heel-up leg lift and standing
Back kick and hold the leg while remain standing
Oh! Almost forgot: I'm training Kung Fu. (but "also" wushu and tai chi)

There's really no quick rehabilitation. Just continue what you're doing and take it slowly so as not to re-injure yourself. Also, I'd suggest asking your Sifu if he may have some extra exercises that he may want you to do for rehab. Chances are he'll have something, and it'd be best to go through them since they tend to know a LOT about the human body and also will know alot about what effects the exercises will have towards your rehab. ^_^

hehe it does seem that if you have any time off you go back to square one.. the few times I've had a month or so off its taken six to get back where I was, and thats without injury. Dont worry about it too much, just take it nice and light and it will come back to you. Bob makihara's advice about asking your sifu for extra exercises is good aswell 3nodding
