You know, I really don't give a damn about what system gets MGS4. I don't own a 360, and I wouldn't buy it even if it hit the Wii. (fat chance) Ignore them, Viking. You're getting it either way. Now, what's Kojima doing for us Boktai lovers?

How many ******** times does Konami need to go out and say "Hey, you fruitbaskets on web blog sites... IT'S NOT ******** HAPPENING! I shall say it again two or three more times as preemptive strike for the next time this rumor comes up in a week and a half here... IT'S NOT HAPPENING, IT WILL NOT BE HAPPENING, I'D RATHER EAT MY CATS PUTRID s**t BEFORE IT'LL HAPPEN! Thank you, remember the game has been delayed so keep your pants on." But I'm sure even Konami came out and said it like that, the rumor would still spring up.

I think it's funny how people keep on going "It may not be going to the 360 now, but at SOME POINT it WILL be ported to the 360!". I wonder where people are getting this logic from. All I've seen is "When they don't make enough money for it from the PS3 version, they'll HAVE to do it.". If that was the case, they should just port it to the f-ing Wii. They'd get all the money in the world after that.
It's kind of funny how 360 fanboys have ignored the fact that the Wii has surpassed it in sales and they still think it's on top.

The Gamecube was -- in my opinion -- the best piece of hardware out for that generation. The PS2, however, is generally considered the winner because it sold the most units, but if you go by which console had the best games, everything get turned upside down. As for MGS4, the important thing to know (and this is true), if the game does NOT make enough money to cover development costs: A) Someone will have to foot the bill B) Metal Gear/Konami tanks C) They port it to 360 to cover production costs. I know this is fueling the fire, but it is true. Companies are trying to make money, not deliver to everyone's personal fanboyisms. Hopefully MGS4 will spark some new PS3 owners, most PS3 owners will buy the game, and it won't be ported to 360. If it doesn't, though...well, I think you can guess what will happen.

This is true, but I think the whole "1 million in one day" was proven to be exaggerated. Plus, I heard Uncharted sold quite a lot in it's first week. I have no doubt in my mind MGS4 will sell more than enough to cover it's production costs.

Either way, if people still believe that Final Fantasy will go to the 360 after a "FOR PS3 ONLY!" was emblazoned in huge letters at the end of the latest trailer, then we can pretty much assume that this MGS4 rumor will never die. 10 years from now when we're all playing our next-next-gen consoles, people will still insist that the 360 will get some version of MGS4.
