So, we all know that a new Zelda has to come out sooner or later. Word on the street is, according to Wii.tv, that the new Zelda will be set in Hyrules future. If the game is set in the future, what would the temples, weapons, and enemies be like? Post your thoughts here!

Well Zelda has alwyas been focused on medieval times and weapons, such as swrd, bow and arrow. SO I doubt that would change, as for the temples, maybe somehting high and mighty like some FF temples. Enemies, they have time to evolve so I would expect hard as hell to destroy monsters... I think a new Zelda like that would be good, but only 1, not to change the classic Zelda games

futuristic...hmm well i think i would try it out even though it definately doesnt fit the usual zelda games. i could imagine hyrule as an even bigger city with flying motorcycles or something. or even lazer swords and bows. one thing i cant picture though is link with a gun lol im not sure how it would affect the fans rofl

That would be strange if it was true. I mean it would be quite a dramatic change. And what would the temples be like? Cities and old buildings? Its hard to visualize.

what they could have in mind is the link we all know with all his awesome weapons and stuff somehow getting sent to the future and conquering some weird random story of some sort =/

im not that excited about it. i think that what made zelda such a hit was that it is original. who knows though, i mean it could be a hit or it could be a failure. overall though i would say that it would be cool to try a futuristic zelda but i dont think they should end the old story plan
