One couldn't avoid them for to long he thought to himself as he looked over the clipboard that he had before him. There were always going to be little winged children that were in need of flying lessons. Always cursed too... he shook his head before he rose to his feet walking over to where Ligeia was standing.
The boy had actually been hesitant of helping out today and he didn't know why, given enough poking, prodding, and pleading though he'd gotten the owl to at least show up. Whether or not Ligeia would help out much that was still to be seen.
"Its one of your friends that is coming in today." He said to his son, showing him the clipboard.
Ligeia looked at it then perked up a little bit, "Really? Alora? Its been a while since I have seen her I wonder how shes been."
"You will know as soon as she gets here. So why not wait and see?" Orpheus suggested.
Ligeia gave a nod then moved to sit down on the ground next to Vorel to await the appearance of the dove girl.

The little girl in particular was rather afraid and excited at the moment as she made her way to the classroom, hesitant steps taking her forward. Finally, she was about to have her first class. However...she was back in D-Corp again, which rather scared her. The dove was also very much afraid of making a mistake. Please let this go well. She prayed, taking a deep breath as she stepped in the classroom.
"Uh... hello, Mr..." It wasn't till she went halfway in her greeting that she realised that she didn't know his name, but her eyes had found someone else and let out a soft gasp. "Ligeia!"

"Solon, Orpheus Solon." The red haired teacher filled in for her then gave a bit of a smile when the girl who seemed to be a bit nervous perked up at the sight of his son. He was glad to have Ligeia's help with these classes as having a fellow student helping often help to a calm students.
Ligeia gave the dove girl a smile, "You've gotten bigger." He said, rising up to his feet and walked towards her.
Orpheus gave a smile, "Ligeia is going to be helping out with your class today if you don't mind to much Alora." He said to the girl.
Ligeia looked over at his father a moment before looking back to Alora, "If its ok." He would do his best since he didn't want to back out and leave the girl alone. He knew flying could be tough and having someone else with wings always proved useful in these classes.
And as an added bonus he doubted that she would bite like a passed student he'd helped out had.

"Oh." The girl whispered, blushing slightly as she fiddled nervously with the hem of her dress. "Hello Mr Solon." She repeated her greeting with a slight bow of the head as she stood in her place unsure of where to walk too. A shy grin was tossed to Ligeia as he mentioned her change and then her eyes turned to the teacher. "I don't mind." She assured both of them, shrugging her shoulders lightly.

"Alright, we are going to be going to one of the terrain rooms to work on your skill since its to cold outside to try flying there." He said, then motioned to the two birds and the dragon to follow him. The walk was pretty short between his office and the classroom. He tapped pushed open the door and Vorel went bounding in first.
The classroom inside was that of an open field, perfect for this sort of class as it had soft grass for the child to land or in the worst case scenario crash on, high ceilings, and plenty of open space.
"Now the first thing you want to remember is that with me and Ligeia here you needn't worry about anything happening. We will keep you from getting hurt, okay? You can trust us."
Ligeia nodded his head in agreement as he looked around the classroom. It wasn't one that he'd been in before so he was curious about it. A bit warm but he had dealt with far worse.

Alora nodded, walking after the teacher, giving a small smile to Vorel, remembering that the dragon had given her a ride when she was much smaller.
The dove nodded mutedly again, assured that she trusted them. She knew Ligeia after all, and the teacher seemed nice enough. Her wings fluttered slowly, as if excited to fly into the air.

Orpheus motioned to Ligeia, "Alright, first thing's first. Ligeia is going to take you up."
Ligeia blinked, "I am?"
"Yes, just like with the others you helped." He said, watching his son closely. He knew that Ligeia hadn't done much if any flying since he'd hurt his wing and hoped that through helping Alora learn the skill that Ligeia would be able to fly again.
The owl nodded then reached his hands out to Alora, "Alright... what we are going to do is go up together. I will hold onto your hands and we need to flap our wings in sync." He told her gently, stretching out his wings before giving them a little flap.
The ground was soft here and they wouldn't be flying up to high so he was sure they could do it, "Just tell me when your ready."

Alora also gave a slight start as the teacher talked, not really expecting that she would be helped. What had she expected? To go up on her own? Well, yes, but it was comforting to know that Ligeia would help her for now.
"Alright." She agreed, her pale hands grasping his. "I'm ready."

Ligeia gave her a smile, "Alright, then flap with me." He started to move his wings slowly at first so that she could match what he was doing before pushing off with his feet. He felt his heart skip a beat as he left the ground, bring Alora up with him. It was exciting and a bit nerve wracking at the same time to be up in the air again, "For now just focus on moving your wings."
Orpheus gave a little smile before he picked up his clip board to take down a couple notes.

The dove girl nodded again, moving her wings hesitantly in sync to his. They eagerly replied, flapping softly as they brought her up to the air. Now up in the air, she felt a small smile creep over her face. She was doing it!

Ligeia gave her an encouraging smile, "Very good." He said, glad to see that she was picking up the motions as they were the most important step. Once she got the hang out of it and when she was feeling more confident he would be let go of first one hand and then the other. Not until she said so though.

The dove beamed at the comment, feeling slightly more confident. "Uh..so...what's the next step?" She asked cautiously, feeling her heart pound in her chest, partly in excitement, partly in anxiety.

"The next step is for you to let go of one of my hands, not both to begin with but even letting go of one hands you have to do a lot of the work on your own. All I would be doing is being here as support just in case." He told her.
At her words Orpheus also moved, setting the clipboard down and was there just in case he needed to catch her as he had to do a couple times before with some of his flyers.

Let...go. Blue eyes widened, causing the red marks around her eyes to stretch along. She was, of course, frightened she would fall, but Ligeia would be here, right? She nodded, a tiny squeak of terror escaping her lips as she did so. Without the support, she dropped down by a few inches but with a determined look on her face, and wings flapping at a faster pace, she rose up to where she once was again.

Ligeia flapped a bit faster as well to help keep the two of them aloft, tightening his hold on the girl's second hand, "Good, very good. You don't have to let go of my second hand until your ready. Don't worry though I am right here and so is my Dad." He assured her. He didn't want her to be afraid of flying, wanted her to love it as much as he did.
