Another camouflage class Orpheus thought to himself as he looked over the data given to him on his clipboard. It was a different sort though, not so much a child trying to blend into her environment like Aysel but instead a girl that could change herself to blend in. Colorations seemed to be dependent on an emotional response though from the sounds of it so the class might have a bit of control of emotions mixed in as well.

All in all it was nothing he couldn't handle or hadn't done before now so he would just have to await his student's arrival.

He'd not bothered to set up anything fancy instead just had a table and some chairs along with a few items laid out on the table. Things he hoped would help out with this class.

Right on time, the door opened, and in prodded the little cuttlefish girl with her D-corp labcoat. It wasn't too hard to get there, just down the stairs, over a bit, into Orpheus' class. She knew it well enough, she knew the whole building better than any other kid... cause... well, she lived there.

And ofcourse, she'd seen orpheus before, just not one on one... So, pattering into the room, she gave him a large smile and a polite curtsy in a form of greeting, altering her color from it's placid state to a more excited pinkish purple, then back to normal. It seemed this student already knew a bit about her skill; though how could she not? Her colour changing magic gained her lots of attention, only encouraging the behavior over time.

"Hello there Talia." Orpheus greeted his student when she arrived and he watched the way that her colors flickered in a curious sort of way. That was a rather interesting skill he thought to himself. Imagine being able to change color at will?

"How are you doing today?" He asked, motioning for her to follow him over to the table where they would be doing the class.

Talia followed like a little duckling after its mother, toddling around in the still slightly too big for her labcoat that she so loved to wear. "Well~" she responded simply to his question, allowing her eyes to gaze about the room in childlike curiosity. Until they stopped at a table, to which she peered at with wide eyes...

Da' had told her that she'd be learning how to change colors better here... it was pretty exciting, she hadn't known anyone could teach that! And as they say, practice makes perfect... Ho, she'd be like those ninja's on the cartoon channel... blending in to anything she wanted. The little child couldn't help but grin to herself at the thought.

Orpheus gave a smile then sat down in one of the chairs and motioned to the one across from his, "You can sit if you like." He said, laid out on the table was a coloring book whose contents were based on princesses and stuff to do with them along with a large of crayons. He figured that one good idea with the working of colors was to have some of them present.

While he figured he could simply ask her if she could imitate a color he thought that having an example of the colors on hand would help so she knew what to try to imitate.

"I thought we could color while we work on this class, how does that sound? Do you like to color Talia?"

She sat when offered, looking eagerly around at the supplies... how much was she going to get to use? Oh she hopped they'd use that... and that... and that...

Did she like coloring? Of course~ what child didn't...? She nodded vigorously to the question, almost wiggling in her seat as she eyed the coloring book and crayons, kind of anticipating that those would be used... she could hardly wait... But, patience was a virtue... whatever that meant. So she did her best to remain still in her spot.

He gave a smile at the reaction, good she did in fact like coloring. Things might have been a little more complicated if she were one of the rare kids that didn't really want anything to do with it. He picked up a crayon for himself and looked it over, "Yellow, thats easy enough for a starting color." He said, after all it was one of the basic three color. He then held it out to her, "I was thinking that while you colored you could try to mimic the crayons you were holding."

Talia looked at the color that was handed to her, listening to the instructions... Mimic the colors huh? She'd never really tried that... "Okay." she offered a rare word in response, staring at the crayon intently... Yellow, yellow yellow... The best she could manage at the time was an off-brown... Well... he said while she was coloring so... She grabbed for the coloring book, even more excited when she saw what she was going to get to color... but she paused, giving orpheus a "Can I?" sort of look, fingers anxiously waiting to flip through the book and find something to color.

Orpheus gave her a nod, allowing her to color at will while he picked up his pen to write something down in his notes. Her first attempt had been pretty good he thought to himself. Not exact but in the right direction that was for sure, "That was a good first try." He complimented her after he was done making his notes.

He waited to see if she would do better while she was coloring and wasn't completely concentrated on the color changing.

Color~ she grinned to herself, reaching over to pick out some colors... pink, blue, purple, yellow... all the colors for a princess~ she started with the dress, concentrating as she scribbled in, trying to stay within the lines best she could... that wasn't a perfect job, but she seemed to do well for her age.

As she colored, she did indeed turn pink... whether it was a response to the fun she was having, or just the fact that she was so focused on 'pinkpinkpink' in her head was hard to say...

When she went for the next color the answer would show that it was a bit of both... as she went to filling in yellow on the crown, princess needed lots of gold, she turned an odd shade of orange first... but after some time focusing, her hand holding the crayon came to mimic the color first, slowly moving throughout the pigments on her skin. The color was easy for her body to mimic, it was just a matter of getting it to know which color... it seemed the sight of what she was coloring helped that.

Orpheus watched, quite impressed and facinated as the girl turned a rainbow of colors that went along with what she was coloring at the time. He made some notes as he observed, not saying anything because he didn't want to break her concentration.

She seemed to do well at her skill with little help from him, he'd just made a suggestion and she followed it well. Why couldn't more students be so sweet and cooperative? This was much better then people getting in fights or trying to crash while learning the art of flight.

"Your picture is looking over nice." He told her when he was done taking notes.

Talia stayed focused, even sticking her little green-colored tongue out over the top lip in concentration... This needed that, and this color... ooh! and this~
Luckally for the little princess of D-corp, her skill was fairly natural... like learning how to smile, or picking up on winking your eye as a cue... it just all fell into place with a little guidance.

She peeked up when Orpheus spoke, "Thankyou~" she grinned, proud... it was looking nice, well sure there were a few bits here and there that fell out of the lines... quite a few actually, but crayons were difficult~ so big and bulky... It took a few seconds, but she popped her head up again, suddenlly remembering the whole point of the exercise... immediatly, she checked over her skin, seeing if the colors had indeed changed.

Orpheus wrote down a little bit more on his notes, making a list of the colors that she had been able to turn while she was coloring and then looked back over at her, "Alright. You are doing really well matching yourself as you color." He told her, reaching over to pick up a trio of crayons, "I am going to hold up a crayon and I would like you to try to match yourself to it. This will be the final part of the class."

If she were able to match the colors at his request then he would give her the passing grade he was sure she deserved. After all she was able to match the colors the only difference was that she had to do the color he requested instead of one she picked out.

Talia looked up as the colors moved to Orpheus' hand, gentle and delicately setting the coloring book aside as though it might shatter from any other treatment, nodding to his request. The last part of the class... that meant, if she did well, she'd be an A~ and dad said if she got an A he'd put her report up on their refridgerator! Which was rather bland, other than a prized picture or two by herself...

Yes~ she had to do good... grinning slightly, she waited for the first color.

Orpheus gave a smile as he looked at the colored he had in hidden in his hand before picking one of them out and held it up for Talia to see. The first crayon was green, "Here you go, this is the first color." He said.
