Alright, people. This is the OFFICIAL Linkin Park/Jay-Z thread. If I see any more topics concerning this collabouration, they will be deleted and the maker will be warned. Post your opinions of the collabouration here and do not take the conversation elsewhere.
My opinion?
Jay-Z did not ruin Linkin Park. It was Linkin Park's choice to collabourate with Jay-Z because they thought it would be a good idea... and in my opinion they did an awesome job. I do not agree with Jay-Z's lyrics, but I own and love the Collision Course album.
You will more than likely not see me again in this thread.

I can't say Jay-Z's lyrics were too great... though most of the time it's too fast and unclear to me to actually pick them up (which is one of the many reasons I like Mike's rap/vocals [clear and really good lyrics])
The sound was pretty good and really it didn't sound half bad. It also got both LP and JZ a lot more publicity (good or bad i'm not sure...) and well yeah... i think they're a pretty good team and i'd like to see some songs and albums from that mash-up

I haven't heard all the album/collaboration but from what I have heard , I have liked. I think it was pretty cool that they did that though. I mean it shows how innovative and awesome they are in my opinion.

Finally an official LP/JZ thread for this guild.
Once again, I have to say I didnt really like the whole idea of the collaboration, but I didnt hate it. It had some good songs on it and some not so good ones. I woulda liked a reanimation for Meteora better but thats just me.
Also, if I see other LP/JZ threads made(other than by mods), I shall kill your thread and bother the living hell out of you just cuz I can. cool

Can't say too much on Jay-Z's lyrics, but you gotta admit they made some pretty sweet remixed beats in the Lying With You and Faint mixes...

Personally i liked 99 Problems/Points of Authority/One Step Closer the most
the lyrics were jack... but it just sounded really cool, Points of Authority has REALLY kickass music and One Step Closer has some of my fav sounds... probably if i didn't understand english it would've been even better...
