How many of your friends in the orchestra are in the higher or lower string section. I play the bass and most of my friends are consisted of violins, strange because i hate high pitched music. So the concert master found this out and he plays his E string to the highest note, it sux.
Im jus rambeling on cuz im really bored now!!! xd

we have only 2 short friends in cello and thas it... small world...

I play the cello, and most of my friends are violin players, although I am friends with everyone in my section too, since theres only four of us.
I hate highpitched noises too, that's why I sit as far away from the violins as I possibly can.

Ugh! I hate high-pitched noises! Plus, the cello has what'sknow as a "haunting beauty" round my neighborhood. I haven't tried out for my school orchestra yet, but right now I'm friends with about half cellos half violins.
xD I need to get a picture of my Cello Instructor up here. This guy is amazing! And I mean playing AND appearance. PLUS personality. blaugh

Oh yeah also another reason i hang out with violins is because me section of basses which is 3. 2 out of the 3 are pot heads so theres no point in talking to them. sweatdrop confused rolleyes

Yeah, I guess right now you could say I'm a beginner. I still have to try out for my school orchestra. I know how to actually play, unlike some of the other applicants.

I have freinds in my section and the violin section. cool It's funny because we haven't been playing alot, so I walk to the other side of the room to talk to my freinds. xD

Yeah... I'm a violin. Oddly enough, I happen to have a strong dislike for the high notes we play too. I would have chosen viola if i had known about those. I happen to love the sound of the cellos though. You guys all sound great. Luckily, I at least get to play second, even if I do have to be section leader. Does anyone here like leading the section? Or would you rather hang closer to the back where you can hear and hide better?
