I love to play in chambers... I'm actually in a string quartet now. We're playing Dvorak's Quartet No. 12 (American) and it's so much fun. Who else loves chambers?

Oh, how many times have I found myself in a chamber group when I was attending grade school?
A lot.
I wouldn't trade those experiences for anything.
At a summer program I was in, a string quartet I was in was rehearsing Eine Kliene Nactmusik, by Mozart. The most cynical professor of the whole music department walked out into the hall and stated we sounded like a cat being run over by a mack truck.
Oh, how I cherish those moments.

Do dah dah dee de dum, do de dah dodadum...
What? Wasn't it obvious that those are the opening notes of the cello theme? Oh. I guess not....
But on topic... being a bassoonist, most of the musical repertoire available with any decent parts is chamber music. Unfortunately, there isn't a constant place to perform it, so I don't get to play as much of it as I'd like. But yes, very fun! 3nodding

I go to Chamber Camp in the summer every year for the past 3 years and 3 more years till I graduate! maybe more maybe after i graduate i will be staff or something that would be awesome. anyways, last year we played Nightingale sang in berekeley square with my brass quintet. This one time at band camp.
EDIT: I had a lot of friends at that camp. one of them happend to be a bassonist like that person ^^^ anyways i happened to see his music one day and asked why at the top of the music it said "f*****t" instead of "Basson" apparently that is German for Basson. And also German for "Pile of sticks" I got a laugh out of that.
