You recieve a re-assignment order scroll from the AkuKage. It tells you that due to the village's still recovering numbers (due to the Akatsuki attack) that you have become an active soldier that will undertake Jounin-class missions for the Hidden Shadow. There is a personal note written underneath by the Squad captain, Kira Yagami, to meet at a set of coordinates in the Cursed Forest (the Graveyard) just outside of the village. Though you may wonder why she signed it with a skull rather than her name....

Shade wondered into The Cursed Forest, his hair yet again obscuring his view as he stumbled over the occasional rock or root. Eventually he sat down and pulled out his map. Before he had set out for the meeting spot he had marked the coordinates down on his map.
"...Hmmm...By calculations, I should be in the right spot, give or take a metre or so..."

Kira was leaning/sitting on a large cross-styled gravestone near the entrance to the graveyard. As you arrived she said, "Well there's one. I was starting to get bored."
In her right hand was a human skull that she was carefully examining. You see a freshly placed kiss on the top of it. "Just as a FYI it was a good thing you showed. The AkuKage was kind enough to lend me the Squad's dossiers, so I know your name and face. Whoever doesn't get here on time will have their name written down and well..." She glances at the skull, "Let's just say I'll make sure the death won't be pleasant."
Sighing loudly she scowls around, "You know, I wasn't even supposed to be explaining this. Where the hell is that useless Hoshi?"

"This damn forest brings back bad memories." Kage mutters whilst keeping a steady eye on his surroundings. As luck would have it, he knew the place very well but it still didn't change the fact that a simple error in judgement could cost you your life.
Up ahead, there was a breach amongst the branches that soon drew his attention. Summoning the shadows, a pair of ebony arms parted the foliage allowing him a better look at who was busy talking in the graveyard. Realizing that one of the ninja wore a Hidden Shadow headband, he lowered his hand away from the hilt of his blade and approched the two.
"You must be Kira...."
((Hey Aria, I thought my character was a Jounin....O .o ))

'Write your name down'? What in the nine hells does that mean? He looked the girl over cautiously, his eyes eventually fixating on the skull. "I sincerely hope you cleaned that thing before kissing it. You'd be surprised by the amount of germs on that that could infect you with...well, anything."
He tilted his head sideways and back slightly to see the newcomer. Was his shadow just moving? A Mikazuki? Intriguing... Despite the fact he was staring, he said nothing.

Kira looked at the group and said, "From the Technique I'll assume you're a Mikazuki. So that makes you Kage, heh, your parents gave you a rather dull name."
She looks at the other person and says, "That leaves you to be Shade. Another boy with another lame, so I suppose I'll just be calling you by your last names. But that just leaves Hoshi."
Setting the skull down on the headstone she reaches into her back pouch and pulls out a small scroll. Flipping off the seal she takes the pen that was rolled up inside of it and starts writing. "Hoshi recieves a very nasty case of diarrhea..." Then closes up the scroll.
"Well tell me about yourselves. Hoshi will be along in a bit."

A single glance was the response he gave Shade for his persistant staring, but an eyebrow perked when Kira remarked about his "dull" first name. It seemed he was going to be working with another caracter of a team leader.
She kinda talks like Rose.... After watching her make a note in one of her scrolls he steps forward and breaks the ice, "Not much to say on my behalf, my parents were killed by Hidden Mist extremists when I was young and I spent 9 years surviving on my own in the Forbidden Shadow. I obtained my Chuunin rank in only one year after being found by Ayumi-sensei, and I've a reputation for weilding nodachi's." he says, lightly rapping on the hilt of his blade. "I assume your story can't be any more colorful than mine, Kira." his remarked was simply based on her being from the Hidden Shadow as well.

Kusanagi Hoshi makes his way into the area, clutching his stomach with both hands.
"Uughhh... s-sorry I'm late, Kira-chan... my stomach is all sorts of messed up!"
Still hunched over, he moves to the right side of Kira.

Kira watched Hoshi make his way into the meeting grounds, "The gods deemed your tardiness as a reason to punish you Hoshi. So quit complaining."
She then looked at Kage, "I'm Kira of the Yagami Clan the Shinigami of Onigashima. But of course being a 'Noble' Mikazuki I'm sure you've never researched any family clans in Onigashima...even if we're now the second strongest." She lets out a soft "hrmph" then continued, "But I will take it personally that you havn't heard of me based on the boring hype they placed on me in the Chuunin Exams."
Kira thinks back to the her time at the Academy and how being a "genious" she was constantly harassed and filled with praise from all her students and doted on by her teachers...and she hated every moment of it. Then she thinks back to the Chuunin Exams and walking out to see the legions of people with "Kira kill them ALL", "Go Yagami", "Shinigami no Kira" and other lame shows that they were a part of the mindless flock. Then she thought how the Genin that she was about to kill was so scared that he could barely stand there without trembling. But then...they appeared....
Kira snapped out of her daydream then flipped her thumb at Hoshi, "This is Hoshi. He's of the Kusanagi Clan, their family is the guardian family of mine."

Kage listened to Kiras response with deep interest, the princess was always moving him from country to country so he never was able to learn of the other clans amongst the Onigashima nin. "You're right in your assumption Kira, I've never researched any of the clans in the Onigashima, strictly because I've never lingered any longer than a week in Onigashima. The princess always deemed it necessary that I keep busy by stregthening our country." he said with a shrug, "and I've never been one to pay attention to hype, because it's just that, hype. Though I congratulate you on passing the exam."
With that he gave his other teammate a curious glance before giving him a kind nod.

Shade sighed and cracked his neck from left to right before speaking. "I'm Shade Ender, nice to meet you all." He reached into his right breast pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. After taking one out, lighting it, and putting his stuff away, he then continued.
"I come from a family of doctors, and being as so many get injured here, our profession is quite essential. I've got experience working in the field and I keep my knowledge up to date, so as to prevent my work from causing infections." He closed his eyes momentarily and shook his head. Am I still being coherent?
"I've never actually been on a team comprised of Hidden Shadow shinobis, mostly I've been on exchange teams." He took a long drag on his cigarette and held it down near his side, then looked down at the ground. He didn't really have anything else to say.

Kira's strangely colored yellow eyes with red pupils looked at Shade /very/ intently as he pulled out the pack of cigarettes. Her somewhat bored expression seemed keenly interested as she mouthed something to herself, almost like she was working out a math problem, before saying lowly, "That explains that...."
She then looks back to Kage, "I didn't 'pass' the Exam."
She remembers still watching the trembling Genin before her as Murasami lifted his hand to start the match. She remembered how that above his head his time of death was less than a minute away and assumed that it was because the match would be short. But that was when she heard it...the bats.....
It was over just when her eyes had told her, not a second sooner or later. The poor Genin didn't even realize that he was dead as his body started to split in half. As the blood splattered on the ground all Kira could do was stare helplessly at the woman who stood behind what was supposed to be her victim. The crimson of his lifeblood dripped from her fearsomely crafted blade and all she could see in her eyes was murder....
"The only reason I'm a Chuunin is because we lost so many high class ninja when Akatsuki attacked. Which is the same reason you're probally back home and the same reason we all have 'the Seal'."

"...what you say is true..." he then flinched upon her mentioning "the seal". The Fire Seal pulsed with his heart as that ironically was where the Princess had placed it.
He could still remember lying upon that cold stone altar, waiting for the Princess to begin the sealing process.
"I mentioned this before, but this will be painful." she said, peering into his patient black iris'.
He winced again, as he returned to reality again. "....now that everyone is here, perhaps you can tell us why we were to meet here at this cursed graveyard?"
