 The Academy is used to teach students to become genin.
I(kazekage) will be the teacher for now until there are some chunin or higher-ranked nin to come and teach students.
To be a genin the must know the basic ninja information, and understand the concept of the basic jutsus taught.

Ita looked at the student, and pointed to a desk in the classroom.
"The first thing I need you to do is sit down. Then we may begin the lesson." she said walking to her desk.

Yagorii walk to his disk and sat down. He looked intensly to what she was going to say next.

She picked up a piece of chalk and wrote on the board 'Chakra Elements'. "I want you to name the elements of chakra." Ita said.

is that it, did i get them right??" Yagorii was bouncing in his seat. "Oh and theres two more but i just can't remember...um ones cold and the other ones hard."

"Im sorry but they are Fire, Water, Lightning, Wind, and Earth" Ita explained to the jittery boy. "You confused sand with earth."
"You will see this again.. so be ready for a quiz one of these days.." she said as she was going into her drawer. She got out an eraser and erased the chalkboard. "Now can you name any ninja weapons?" she said.

"Umm lets see Kunai, Shuriken, Windmill Shuriken, Exploding Notes, Needles, Exploding Pouches, and Smoke Gernades," Yagorii answered.

Miyuki suddenly ran through the door. "Sorry I'm late kazekage-sama", She said and then took a seat towards the back.

"You're correct Yagori" Ita said as she looked at Mizuki.
"That's fine.." Ita said."Do you know what the elements of chakra? And what weapons shinobi can use?"

Sano entered the academy his hands playing with the small items that littered his pockets. Within moments he was inside the classroom his gaze taking in the sight of several other people within the classroom. One of them was clearly older and much stronger probably the teacher and from what he had heard the Kazekage. The other two were probably students just like he. Sano gave a deep bow to the sensei before rising and moving to take a seat. When he finally reached a seat he turned back to the teacher and said, “My name is Kodahma Sano I believe that you had been expecting me?” Sano then took a seat waiting to see what would come next.

The reason she was so late is because she had made sure to study this time before coming to class.

Miyuki sat quietly observing her two classmates, wondering if they were to be her future teammates as well. She realized then that she hadn't seen the one who had just walked in, Kodahma Sano, around before and wondered where he came from.
