Lets see...Ill admit...Im a fairly new fan, but I AM a huge fan...definently enough that I started a whole Gaia guild!

So...my first time seeing Dream Theater was when Gigantour came to my town....Fresno. I absolutely went bananas...it was the awesome. I was right up front by the barrier. I hope to go see them again aside from Gigantour. I absolutely cant wait. blaugh heart

Anyone else care to share there experiences? Im sure they're more interesting than mine!

I've never went to one of their concerts because probably they never came here to Brazil. sad If you ever see them, tell 'em to come to Recife, Pernambuco!

I've never been to see them either, because they've never come to N.B. Canada. crying Hopefully I'll get to see them soon, though.

I have been dying to go see them all my life, but always around the time of the concerts I can never make it. I even got free tickets to the Gigantatour, but I had to go up to West Virginia to visit my grand parents the day before. The day before!

Man, it'd truly be a blessing of some kind if I managed to get a chance to see them. I'd literally fall over. It's sad to think that the only place they come to in Canada is Montreal, and that's too far for me to go... with the little or no cash that I have/get. It sucks!

That's pretty awesome! I wish I was just as fortunate, but then I'd have to live in or around Quebec... crying

Yeah, it is awesome. But I've just noticed how fangurl-ish that post of mine sounded and am now feeling quite embarrassed. redface

A pity you cannot go to see them, maybe one day.

Yeah, for sure. One of these fine days I will have the oppurtunity and privilege to watch one of their concerts... and that will be a great day. A great day indeed.

I'll admit that i'm also a fairly new fan. I had known about them for a long time but barely gave them a listen, then around the time gigantour started I listen to This Dying Soul on the site, and I went out and got Six Degress Of Inner Turbulance. Since then i've become a big fan. And I have gotten most of their cds, my current favorite is Scenes From A Memory, Strange Deja Vu owns me.

I just got home from their Helsinki gig and I must say it kicked some serious a** with an capital A! domokun

They started with Root of All Evil, which was good choice, and then they playde songs from their Majesty times to the Train of Thought and ofcourse most of the Octavarium songs too!

...Octavarium... That song rocked live! Not too good though... too long and thick, but still... Filled with emotion (atleast for me o.O) and something that makes it so good, and ofcourse, I went haywire! And for that, I was the only one in the upper parts of the ice hall who was keeping the feeling and getting their moneys worth, because the rest of them just sat there and seemed like they couldn't give less if it was DT or Britney Spears... rolleyes

But atleast I got noticed by LaBrie and Petrucci ^^ Both waved at me and apparently were pleased that atleast some people had a great time 3nodding

Great gig! I want more! ninja
