Yurp. Definately one of the more controversial artforms in society, though it is slowly becoming more and more acceptable. What do you think about it? Does anyone here plan on getting any tattoos/piercings/other stuff? Does anyone have any? If so, would they post a pic(s)?( whee ) Where do you personally draw the line on how much is too much? Share interesting stories and stuff. xd
I remember seeing something a while back on miami ink about a lady who was writing a book (Skin I think it was called) and what she did was she had people get one word from the story tattooed on some part of their body and send her a picture (If anyone's got more info on that it'd be awesome xd ) I think she also said that she would go to the funerals of all of her "words". I thought that was kinda awesome, just because I don't believe it's been done before and it's a cool way to tell a story.
As for stuff I'd like to get done, I'd like to get 5 rings in my lip...I'm not sure how to describe the placement other than that, the bridge of my nose pierced, 3 more piercings in the lobes of each ear, either two eyebrow piercings or one anti-eyebrow, and probably some sort of industrial piercing in my left ear, plus a full sleeve tattoo and a back piece that I've been half-way working on for a while now and caps on my teeth to look like fangs razz , but we all know that will never happen, so i'll prolly just do the fangs, lip rings and tattoos xd
As you can probably tell, I don't exactly have a line for too far. xd I think it's all up to how much the person wants done and whether or not they personally like it. 3nodding

I would like to get a cross tattoo on my right shoulder, an American flag or eagle on my left shoulder, the Italian word "Oggi" on my left arm, the Italian words "Per Sempre" on my right arm, and some type of lyrics on my back.

I want black tribal tattoo like tiger stripes on my left arm. (Down to above the elbow.) Not just stripes though, almost, curly but not compleatly. I have to find the picture again. Someone drew a tiger with stripes like that and I fell in love instantly. *sigh*

Oggi means today and Per Sempre can be translated as for always or forever. Both are the titles of songs that are famous in Italy.

hmm...any tattoos/piercings that people think are over rated/over done or just aren't worth getting?
...I'm not a big fan of getting something done because it's trendy at the time as it's not really creative to do something because everyone else is, same thing goes for the wall art (can't remember the proper name lawl.) in tattoo shops, there are already a million people out there with that same design, pick something new. There are a few others, but I won't go into them right now or I'll start ranting xd

I have my ears pierced once each ear, but I'm getting the double pierced within the next few weeks. That's all the piercings or tattoos I ever want to get.

I've got an eyebrow piercing. It's green...that's it. >_>. I've been considering getting my lip done...I think it's a spiderbite; the one with the two on one side? Don't think it'll happen though, as I'd like a job in the forseeable future and employers don't seem to look kindly upon that kind of thing.
The only body mods I don't really like are surface piercings on random places. All the ones I've seen were rejected and rather...crusty. >_>.
