Your thoughts on Sirius Black.Please no one line answers that state you like him. Lets get some debth!
Sirius Black In my opinion should not have died. He was the best thing to happen to Harry,and even if you dont like Harry,how can you not like Padfoot? He was a hard worker and had he stayed alive would have definately prevented the death of Dumbledore(though Dumbledore shoulda died a while ago..).As well Sirius did not die a nice death, though most dont in the wizarding world.But going into oblivion of who knows where? That isnt pleasant. The killing curse would have been better. At least Dumbledore got a nice burial and such,what did Sirius get? Nothing. So that is my point,and I am sure I will add to your comments!Post Away!

I despise the way Sirius dies. I mean..falling through a veil? It's just..... horribly, pathetically, miserably lame. I really like Sirius himself as well. Sure, he was a prat as a fifteen year old and he's a hypocrite and makes more trouble than he should, but he's one Rowling's more complex characters. He's very interesting, and does have several good qualities.

I don't think he's dead. x3 Meaning I'm in denial. I can't believe that he's gone. Yea, you all right Zaurak, he was a prat, but he was so nice to everyone other then Snape (and any other Slytherin ;;>.>)! He's loyal, he's a great wizard. I mean he was able to become an animagus in his 5th year! That's really good. x3 He was also framed, which I think gives him some reason to be an a**. I think it gay how Bella "killed" him. He should at least get something better then going into oblivion. >< I use to think that she was cool because of her last name, but she a meany butt. -emo tears- < Those tears are for you Sirius!

I think Sirius might not be dead. He could burst out of the veil in the last book and go save Harry's life, then tell him something like "I couldn't stay in there. Not when I knew how much you all needed me!" He did escape Azkaban, after all. But if not, Harry will probably make another trip to the veil and hear Sirius' voice whispering along with all the others. Something like that. I could be competely wrong, though.

You're probably right, though. Yes, but he didn't escaped just like that. It took him a long time. And the only reason he had his sanity was cus' he knew that he was innocent.

I dont think that he should have died quite so soon...He was one of the beat things that ever happened to Harry and then he was just taken away. But I especially disliked the manner of witch he had to die...first of all Harrys left feeling like its all his fault that Sirius was in danger in the first place...and then theres the fact that he fell through a veil...Harry will never get to say good-bye to Sirius actuall body...that kinda sucks. all in all...I miss Sirius

Sirius, never liked him untill I decided too. At first I really didn't care, couldn't really picture in my mind how he died. But then I felt sorry for Harry a few years later.

i dont really think sirius is dead either. it just says that he fell through a veil. and all anyone said about is that "hes gone"they didn't explain it...
does that mean that he could somehow be alive?
and it said you could hear wispering from the people that feel through and "died" before. who acually goes into the department of mysteries and goes through that veil?? im guessing not alot. so i think there might be more to it.

I don't really think that Sirius is dead. I, personally think it's mpore of an eternal jail or something, where you can see what's happening in the outside world, and talk to the people that fell through the veil, but you can never leave. Sort of like toture or something.
That aside, I don't think J.K. should've made him die so soon. First of all, she sunk my ship, and second, Hary was depending on him for a lot of things. Harry didn't seem ddepressed enough, I think, in the sixth book. You'd think he'd be all emo and junk. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
I can't help wondering if it was Voldemort's intention to kill Sirius, by having Hary lured to the Department of Mysteries. He may have known that Sirius would come, right? I think Voldemort wants to kill off everyone who is important to Harry, so Harry is hard pressed to have the will to find the horcruxes.
I think Lupin may be next, or Tonks, or Even Ron or Hermione. Someone close to Harry.

There was no grace in his death and he left this empty, hollow feeling with his absense. I mean, he just kind of arched backwards into a veil and although a rather morose Harry still angsts about him sometimes, there just wasn't any depth in his death. I adored his character - so strong and willing despite the odds that were set against him. He was also one of the people that Harry could relate to - one of the people who had something in common with Harry and had been kind enough to offer him a place to live should the rest of the world stop pursuing him.
*sighs* He shouldn't have died.
