Issue 1
As you may have read in the updates section of the guild, this is our first monthly newsletter!
This first issue has been sent to every member in the guild, but if you wish to receive any following issues, you have to SUBSCRIBE via the Newsletter forum!
Alright, starting on January first of 2008, several monthly contests will be started - here's the preview list:
LOTTERY
Yes, the old version of the lotteries is going to be changed: To participate, you must donate 50 gold to the guild via Hikena* to buy your entry ticket. These monthly lotteries will require you to pick 5 random numbers betweenn 1-100 - prize details are in the Newsletter subforum.
ARTWORK CONTEST
For the artists in our guild, you have until the 13th of January to come up with something cool to submit - some months may be themed, others will be a freestyle contest: either way, our winner will be chosen by the 15th, and will not only be listed with a link to their art in the newsletter, but will also receive a prize!
AVATAR CONTEST
No, the weekly ones aren't going anywhere - this is extra. Like the art contests, these can be random or themed from month to month, but it's along the same lines - winner will be put into the newsletter along with a link to their avi along with receiving a prize.
PROFILE CONTEST
Similar to Avatar and Art contests, this one will judge your creativity on your profiles! They can be from GoLayouts, Tektek, or personally jigsawed together from Photobucket or whatever other site you frequent. You have to have made the profile yourself, though - no stealing other people's designs! Winner of this contest will be listed in the newsletter with a link along with the other two, and will receive a prize as well.
So that's the preview lineup of games - but there's more: along with our contests, we're also going to be having various side articles provided by the members - including Death of The Month**, Top Checks**, and Monthly Recipe**.

Reminders
*When donating to the guild, send it to Hikena: if gold is donated to the guild account itself, we're limited to only being able to use it for subforums - of which we have a large reserve - whereas if it's put together on a seperate account, we can use it for prizes for the contests.
Check out the subforums at least once a week and make new topics whenever you have the chance! A special note on our Roleplay forum: we have several awesome RPs set up, but not enough active players to keep the stories going, so check it out!
Also, crew and members who help consistently are going to be given new 'titles' - the members who helped put this first issue together are listed at the bottom of this issue - and new titles will remain to be added as newsletter features are!
Said it once, and I'll say it again - if you want to receive and/or participate in any of the newletter details you have to subscribe: which is FREE people, so don't be lazy! Just go to the newsletter forum and then to the subscriptions thread.
